For me, it def does. If I'm at a friend's house, I'll probably make joking comments throughout the whole thing but if I was watching it at the movie theater, I'd have to pay more attention to it because obviously I can't talk, lol. I'd probably have more fun at a friend's house, so I'd like the movie more if I had to be quiet through the whole thing.

Hmm, I noticed this...
When I watched PATF twice in theaters I was like YAAAAAAAAAY NAVEEEEEN you're my fav!
Then when I watched it at home for the first time I was like "Oh, Naveen...you're cool." I wasn't fangirling, or even that crazy about him.
Tangled was the same, I loved the movie the 3 times I watched it in theaters, but when I watched it at home yesterday I was like "Wow, actually, that wasn't that great."
I think the mood of the theater affects me a LOT, when other people laugh and cry and get upset at movies. So that's why I was disappointed when I watched Tangled yesterday, I was like "Oh, I don't love Rapunzel & Flynn as much...at all...as I did..."

Oh, for the record, Flynn is probably #9. I didn't find him funny anymore (I knew this was going to happen, most of his jokes are obviously funny, not situational or subtle, so it wasn't funny the fourth time around,) so I had to go on the REST of his personality, which was generic. He was nice, mostly, but I didn't really connect to him. Still better than Naveen.
Rapunzel...is #10...I don't know yet, she doesn't have the bitchy/edgy side that all the other princesses have. (yes, including the classic ones, I think Rapunzel is more cutesy-sweet than them).
And there's more to why I'm not crazy about her, but I don't like to talk that much so I won't say anymore. xD xD

It sure does. When I watch The Princess and the Frog for the first time in the cinema, I was very dissapointed, but when I watched it with my friends we were laughing all the time, and I thought "Maybe it's not that bad after all!".

For sure.

Thinking about it, I haven't seen any of the princess films in the cinema. I go to the cinema a LOT but rarely to watch Disney.

Any whoo, I watched Mulan with my cousins when I was little and I loved it, same with Beauty and the Beast and my sister. I've seen all the princess films with young relatives. I've also seen Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Pocahontas and Snow White at different friends houses and I thought it was really nice and made me love the films more. I like the memories and stuff.

It depends on who I'm with, really. And the mood I'm in. But most of the time, it doesn't make much, if any, difference.

It affects how much I enjoy myself, like with a friend it's more fun (and often don't pay much attention) at the cinema it's a better experience, etc.. but it doesn't really affect how much I like the film itself, it just affects my enjoyment at the time. If that makes ANY sense..

Yes, because when I watched PATF at the theater, I really like it, but then the movie buzz passed and I didn't like it as much. Then I watched it when I got the DVD and now I think it's just ok.

@princeslullaby - at last you see the ligggghtttt XD

I have more fun when I'm watching it at a friend's house, although it depends on the friend. Some actually pay attention to the movie while others just blab about their life during it >_<
