After Frog Princess I mean...I was just thinking about all the fairy tales that haven't been made famous by Disney yet.

Disney is making the following right now:
Tiana - The Princess and the Frog (2009)
Rapunzel - Rapunzel (2010)
Princess Merida - The Bear and the Bow (2011)

I like Princess and the pea and Diamonds and Toads too...these three are my favorites...maybe one day, sigh...

oh wow I didn't know about the other two that they are making...that's cool, is the Bear and Bow based on anything or did they just make it up?

I think The Swan Princess is adapted from Swan Lake...same idea, slighlty different story.

Oh, and yeah it isnt Disney, but I wouldn't say Disney would make a movie so similar to it.

Well, I thought Swan Princess was a pretty awful movie, so Disney could make some substantial changes and I wouldn't mind ;). But yeah, I didn't pick it either.

It was actually a tie between Rapunzel and Psyche.

The story of Eros and Psyche has been my favorite Greek myth for many years because it is so romantic.

I think this , the wild swans and Psyche would make great stories...Well maybe it would have been better not to call it Psyche, but i think they should make a movie with Eros and Psyche,cause it's like...The only happy ending story in the greek mythology.In The princess and the Peas and The wild swans they would have to develope a little the relationships between the main characters because in the stories they don't even know each other well.

i think it could be funny. something along the lines of The Emperor's New Groove.

I want anything except for Swan Lake and Thumbelina since those stories were made into movies in the 90's. And I don't want remakes.

I want a story I've never heard of so I wasn't too thrilled about The Princess and the Frog at first. Nor was I for Rapunzel coming out because I saw a version from Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics when I was small, as well as the Barbie one. Any of the other choices would've been fine by me because those stories are something new and fresh for me.

I love the idea od phsyche, but also princess and the pea, the wild swans and ... Rumpelstiltskin - one of myh favourite fairytales. ALso Dionysia or the dancing water, if anyone knows those.

I answered on this before Tangled was released so why I picked Rapunzuel was because I loved the story when I was little. Today I would pick Odette or Thumbelina although they have already been made by other moviecompanies.

What about beauty and the beast but in real life without magic

I'm thinking about writing books on princesses modernized. Ex: sleeping beauty lives with great aunts until they find her missing mother and then person who kidnapped mother puts sleeping beauty in a coma, along the way she meets phillip at the grocery store when shopping for berries for her aunts while humming her faverite song. SOUNDS GOOD RIGHT??????

They've already made Rapunzel as well as Merida. Merida will officially become a Disney princess come July of 2013 and the twelfth princess will be named Anna. She is the main protagonist of the upcoming film "Frozen," which is a retelling of "The Snow Queen," by Hans Christian Anderson, who also wrote the original tale of "The Little Mermaid."

I would like Psyche's but it was what Beauty and the Beast was based on. A beautiful girl wanting to go somewhere else apart from a town, her parents sending her to a place where there is a beast that terrifies the gods, they fall in love, girl angers the beast and happily ever after. (Psyche is Belle, Eros is the Beast and Aphrodite is the enchantress.)
