Um, to make her unique?

When im drawing her from a picture i wonder that when i have to color her hair.

I have wondered but it looks good when you are a cartoon. It doesn't really work when you are a real person though.

Well they could of stillvmade her unique by making her hair a more realistic shade of red. I understand its a cartoon its a cartoon and I actually do really like Ariels hair but its still interesting that they made it such a bright red :)

What do you suppose is "the usual colour"? Because the more orange red aside, there are people who have naturally a dark red-brown (a beautiful colour to have). Naturally not that red, but it's not more intensive than the transition of blonde to the screen.

Sometimes, but mostly I don't care for it because that makes her unique.
