Dumbo, the film, has gegeven birth to possibly the most famous Disney theme park ride of them all - Dumbo, the Flying Elephant. It is a ride which is seen at all the Disney parks (and in many other theme parks, just without the 'Dumbo' theming - but often still with flying elephants).

The iterations at Disneyland Paris and California are practically identical. They have a beautiful clockwork theming with decorations which include afbeeldingen of Mr Stork. I've titled this artikel with the French titel for this classic Disney 'dark ride' as that is the version I have most recently ridden. However, I will take a look back at the Disney World version, as well as using some online sources to compare and contrast the Disneyland California and Tokyo Disney versions.


The 'English' titel for this ride is incredibly apt. Scary is what it is. After the usual twisty-turny queue line (no fastpass for this one) u are placed into minecarts decorated with squirrels and the like. The ride first leads u through the dwarves' cottage where u see animals cleaning...

Les Voyages de Pinocchio has guests enter a ornate, wooden entrance modelled on the buildings seen in the film. After the usual twisty, turny queue, riders climb into carts not dissimilar to those on the Snow White dark ride. These ones are decorated with afbeeldingen of Figaro and Cleo.
