The review was alright, but I don't quite agree. It's not just a "monster of the week" thing as the reviewer says. The very end sets us up for a story line that can be played out throughout the season. I think that Dollhouse has gotten off to a very good start.

I also didn't find it to be too confusing. I was confused for a few minutes in the beginning, but I got over it quickly. I do agree that it didn't have the same feel that we came to expect from Joss, but I don't think he wants the same exact thing as Buffy. I think he's trying to do something different and try a slightly different approach.

I too am an avid fan of Buffy, but I don't want a Buffy 2 feeling from this show. I think that Joss is on the right track and I hope that even if some highly expectant fans were, in fact, disappointed that they continue to watch and give the show a chance to 'make up' for any faults that they found.

I personally loved this premier and hope that Fox picks this great show up. I am energized and intrigued by this pilot episode and can't wait for next week's. The only thing I found disappointing was that it wasn't a two hour premier.
