Okay, first off, that titel is a lie.

Based on the way things are going with the new club update feature so far, I thought we could use some guidelines. These are not official, they are merely suggestions on how to decide on a new icoon of banner as a team. Only large clubs have the new suggestion options, so there are thousands of people there whose opinions count! (Not that smaller spots aren't valuable, u guys rock just as hard.) The suggested steps for changing a club's look are the same up until Step 3 for both large clubs with the new enquête feature, and smaller ones with user-run enquêtes for change.

It's important to remember that fanpop is a community, and should do things as a group. Randomly starting a enquête for a new icon, banner of background is rude to other club members. Making iconen and banners takes time, and the first options (likely made door the person who started the poll) are gegeven the unfair advantage of being there the longest. Early voters aren't likely to check back in every dag to see if new options have been added. Following these steps will help ensure that everyone has a fair chance to participate and that all options are gegeven the same amount of consideration. (It'll also keep u from getting yelled at.) Now, let's get to it, eh?

Step 1: Ask the fans!
Make a enquête to determine if the club even WANTS a new icon, banner of background.

I usually leave this enquête up for a week, unless the results are overwhelmingly in favor of one option of another after a few days.

If the club stemmen no, try again in a few months. If the club stemmen yes, proceed to step 2.

Step 1: Ask if anyone wants a change.
Step 1: Ask if anyone wants a change.

Step 2: forums & Advertisements
Create a forum for suggestions from other users. link is a recent example of a spot makeover that went smoothly, if you'd like to see how that goes.

I like to leave a suggestion forum open for a week of two. If it's a small spot with just a few participants, just a week will probably do. Users can always ask for meer time on submission forums I start. You'll need to include the dimensions of the icoon and banner in your forum post. iconen are square and 100x100 pixels of larger. Banners are 800x100 pixels, of a size that scales down to that. (1600x200, 2400x300, etc.) This is important, because afbeeldingen that are not those dimensions will be stretched when uploaded to the spot, and that ain't pretty.

Step 2a: Create a forum for suggestions.

Step 2b: Be sure to include icon/banner dimensions and a submission deadline!
Step 2b: Be sure to include icon/banner dimensions and a submission deadline!

It's also a good idea to adverteer the suggestions forum, in case someone missed the initial poll. The most effective ways to do that are linken and polls, but adding a uithangbord post too wouldn't hurt. linken are probably the best way, because adding linken to a club bumps it to the front of the mosaics on user profiles. This lets users know that something is going on in a club even if they've overlooked it in their updates, especially for inactive spots.

Step 2c: Advertise! Here's an example of advertising in a link.

Step 3: Voting & Change
Once everyone has toegevoegd their creations, this is where it can get a little tricky...

If you're voting in sets, make a graphic with all the options paired together. Then u can create your enquête and link to the image in the comments, so users can see it all at once and pick the set they like most. I've found that this is the fastest and simplest way, as it only requires one enquête and it's very unlikely that the club will end up with a mismatched set. (I'm not quite sure how to accomplish this with the new voting feature for large clubs yet.)

If users didn't bevestig their graphics as sets (or if you're running the contest in a large spot with the special polls), I prefer to vote for the banner first. It's larger, it took meer work, and it's easier for users modify their iconen to work with the new banner instead of vice versa. After the new banner is determined (a week should be enough time if it's a small club, fanpop sets its own deadline for enquêtes in large clubs), it's time to pick an icon. What I like to do for these is to pair each icoon contender with the winning banner in one graphic, so users can see what each icoon will look like with the new banner. Link to it in the commentaren of the icoon poll. This doesn't guarantee a matching set, but it helps reduce the Clash of the Graphics that often happens when the icoon and banner stemmen run simultaneously.

Unless the spot in need of a change doesn't have an icoon of banner at all, u should include the current ones in the polls.

The special enquêtes for large clubs are monitored door fanpop, so u don't need to do anything once those are over. If you're overseeing a change in a smaller spot without that options, a moderator will help u with the change if u ask nicely and provide linken to the suggestion forum and the winning polls. (link is my go-to Mod.)

Told u the titel was a lie.
As u can see, there's a lot meer to changing a club's look than just clicking a link and uploading an image. It takes a responsible user willing to put in the time and effort of organizing, advertising, making sure everyone is included and following the guidelines, and in the case of smaller spots, reporting the results to a moderator. If u can't handle that, please leave the job of overseeing a spot change to someone who can. There's no shame in letting someone meer experienced take the reins!

Note: This is just for fun. I do not claim to know the specifics, thoughts, of actions of medals. The words and aantal keer bekeken spoken of expressed door the “medal” of the interviewer (me) are in no way affiliated with the F4 of Fanpop itself, unless u count the fact that I’m posting this on Fanpop.

Today, I, Kate, will be conducting an interview with a Dedicated (green) medal. That’s right folks, a real, actual medal! After much persuasion, and promises of many future contributions to “feed” the medal (this will be explained in the interview), I managed to persuade one of my Dedicated medals...

I'm an observer, I see things happening and continuously in my head I'm going "WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?!?!". What am I talking about exactly? Fanpop has so many features, so many different things that allows us users to do different things all the time yet people aren't using them.

Articles > fan Fiction
You DON'T need to make your own club to post your fan fiction. Fanpop has provided u with a drop down category in the artikels to be able to publiceer your fan fiction and for ease of use of other users to find this.

Images > fan Art
Once again, just like the fan fiction there is a category...

Hip-hip-hooray! Wow- I had just hit 20 fans and I am so excited. I have been "fanpoping" since last June and frankly at first I joined fanpop just to get to watch some videos of my favoriete shows. In the beginning I don't think I even paid attention to whatever was going on with the web-site- videos were the only thing that mattered. I suppose some people do kom bij just for that. But the meer time I spend on this web-site the meer cool things, that others like Youtube lack, I have found. I definitely loved the format of the profiles- the spots arrangement, the updates, the how many things you...

We all are really happy when we get medailles for the spots. It shows that other people appreciate our contributions. So here are some advices of how to get a medal.
1) The most importante rule: don't get obssesed with getting a medal. Add just interesting things so people could like it! u add things to the spot for people not for medals. Medal is just a lovely surprise for your work!
2) Find spots u like.
3) Start contributing things on the spot.
4)You can get a medal if people rate your stuff. What can we rate? Right: videos, links, artikels and images.
5)Add interesting links, because if it's...

About 2 weeks ago, there was a vraag on this fan-site, asking which were the most embarrassing things we did here on Fanpop, however, I couldn't answer it because "apparently" my answer was far too long. As a result, I have decided to write an artikel about it, instead.

Before we begin, I want to make a disclaimer that most of the things I'll be talking about revolve around Disney's Frozen, since that's the thing I was obsessed with when I became a Fanpop member.

I've been here on Fanpop since November of 2014, and I've made some pretty embarrassing things myself. Here they are:

1.In November...
