hi fanpop users! i wanna tell that im very glad to joinfanpop and i will never regret it! im telling the woorld this bcoz there's so many reasons why i wuld never regret joining fanpop. i will tell 5 reasons (in my opinion) why ill never regret joining fanpop:

- its a stress-relief web.
- its fun.
- theres fan spots for (mostly) everything.
- Get to learn something new.
- Get to post stuff (comments, pics).
- Get to socialize virtually with other people.
- Socialize MUCH EASIER.
- Can get new friends.
- Can be with old friends.
- EVERYTHING ROXXXXXXXX!!

Bulk posting kills trefwoorden

Okay this soapbox sadly, is going to point fingers so people can learn from this. I don't like having to point fingers but it seems no one gets the message across if it isn't done.

What is bulk posting? It's when u post multiple things all at the same time. So when u do that the trefwoorden u give are going to be the same for every single thing u post.

Why do people bulk post? Well the excuse used can be "I want to share great content with others" but really it turns meer into a quantity over quality.

Why is this harming keywords? When people bulk post they only put a general amount of keywords...

Hello Fanpoppers. door now u may have noticed a nifty new feature was rolled out this afternoon. It's the Fanpop Pop Quiz, a way to test your knowledge of all sorts of arcane trivia from movies, to muziek to hamsters.

So, you've registered on the site and now u want to add some content to your favoriete spots. The vast majority of the stuff on fanpop is in the form of linken which point to content in other places, whether they are articles, galleries, videos, games, of any other sort of content u can find online.

Good Grammar is Sexy

Yes, yes it is.

As some of u may know, I often suffer from grammar-induced rage blackouts. These can be triggered door anything from a misplaced apostrophe to the incorrect usage of "your" and "you're". So, I decided to do something about it.. mostly because I'm afraid the volgende dangling modifier I come across might send me spiraling into a violent rampage the likes of which have never been seen.

I understand that a lot of Fanpoppers are not native English speakers, and thus might not have as good a hold on our sometimes ridiculously complicated grammatical rules. Obviously, I can't fault them for their mistakes....

Right, I have been thinking about this. I have been thinking about certain things on Fanpop recently and as much as I love this place there are certain things that irk me.

Hate Spots
I've seen spots that are about hating a certain thing. I thought this place was meer about sharing things we enjoy so we can give each other images, links, videos, etc not "oh I hate this and this and this". It doesn't make anything friendly.

Okay everybody on Fanpop is a fan of something, u have to be, But what is a true fan? Well, I'll tell you.
According to Webster's Dictionary, a fan is
A:
Function: noun
Etymology: probably short for fanatic
1 : an enthusiastic devotee (as of a sport of a performing art) usually as a spectator
2 : an ardent admirer of enthusiast (as of a celebrity of a pursuit) <science-fiction fans>

This is a great definition of a fan of a baseball team of a specific person, such as the Yankees of Brad Pitt. But is that really what the fans on Fanpop are? No....

"Ghost Accounts" - 3 Reasons Why u Shouldn't Cheat on Picks

I'm not afraid of you, Ghost!

So I was hanging out on my computer this evening, watching some videos and browsing on Fanpop, when I noticed something that disturbed me. In not one, but two different spots. I discovered several examples of what I believe to be "Ghost Accounts".

"Ghost Accounts" are what I'm calling additional accounts created door an already existing Fanpop member to skew the results of a pick of an argument in their favor. I have read things geplaatst door other Fanpoppers suggesting their existence in the past, but hadn't knowingly spotted any for myself. Tonight I believe I spotted three different people doing...

Have u noticed that people on this site add lots and lots of things and gain load's of fans then out of nowhere are never adding again of only add now and then. Look through your fan lijst and see who is still adding and praise them for there loyalty and praise even meer of even compliment them for their work, they all deserve it.

How To Make A good Pick On Fanpop!

Ok, I usually don't make user guides but this one needs to be made. I have seen a lot of picks and a lot of them are boring of annoying. Here is a lijst of steps to help u out.

1. Try to have meer than three antwoorden if possible. If the vraag is "Who should Jim be with?" Put, Karen and Pam, and then put an answer like neither of Katy.

2.Always have pictures for the vraag if it isn't a yes, no, of maybe question. Pictures bring in meer fans and make the picks meer interesting.

3. Try to ask vragen that people haven't already asked and vragen that people will be interested in. Don't make it boring.

Now these are the three golden steps to making a good, quality pick on fanpop. If u feel I need to add anything, then please leave it in the comments.

I have a pet peeve.

As a writer, I have found my stuff geplaatst on other websites without my permission, and sometimes without so much as a mention that it was MY article... of a link back to the original. This ticks me off, and it is illegal to do so.

I have not come across this on Fanpop with artikels yet, but I have seen it numerous times on images.

Some of the people I adore the most are even doing it. I have to assume innocence here and figure some folks just don't know... so I'ma tell ya ;)

Well, I have cuz I have pictures on my computer, seasons of the show, and some soundtracks of the show. See a lot of people can be judgemental sometimes. Now, that can be annoying.

Ok, there has been a growing problem that I have recently noticed on Fanpop. I have been receiving many e-mails that are very annoying and sometimes even offending. I don't care if u are having a problem with another fanpopper of u are telling me about a new spot. The fun part about fanpop is that u get to discover new spots for yourself. I was never intending to do a follow-up artikel on fanpop-addiction. I just took it for granted that I had grown happily addicted and I would remain that way. I basked in the warm, happy glow that only recognition for fanpop-contribution can give you, and looked vooruit, voorwaarts to the fanpopping years ahead.
