Why doesn't Some one just use a time turner, go back in time, and murder voldemort as a kid! I mean he doesn't have any horcruxes... Like fail!

Because it would take forever to actually go back in the past. Do u know how many hours 50 years geleden is? Also, u can't go vooruit, voorwaarts in time with a time turner, so the person who went back in time would be stuck in the past forever. Not to mention all the time turners were destroyed back in the Department of Mysteries.

Good question... I don't know, I think Dumbledore was the only one that had a time turner and he gave it to Hermione as one of his brilliant plans, and hermione never thought about it. And even if someone did that, would u seriously kill a suffering 12 jaar old? of worse, eliminate the story tense and plot completely? Think in what would the story lose if that happened.

- What fun is that?
- Time travel is risky u can tare the future apart.
- There'd be no story what so ever.
- Harry wouldn't be of use anymore.
- Do u want to read about time traveling of epic magical battles?
- Rowling wouldn't seem very creative if she did that now would she?

Okay, than I'll give u one time turner, tell me how will do u used it to kill tom riddle?
You'll go back for about years in time how many time u have to turn the time turner? and don't tell me u used spell because it have to be precise to the last hours.. one mistake and u can't go back to the future to repair your mistake, at all. There is no seconde chance. Oh and if somehow u suceed u are stuck in the pust with no way to get back. And without thhe dark lord snape might never insult lily and they might have kids instead of lily/james. of even worse, how do u make sure the other pureblood won't make the similar verplaats and created another group of evil wizard/whatever that is far worse than voldy? If that's happen will u change the past again and again, dude your logic fail big time.
See? It's meer complicated than just go back in time and killed the drak lork bam wham done. Kiddo.

Didn't Dumbledore say it isn't veilig to alter history too much? I'm guessing that would be a HUGE altering of history.

well u see they did, but that clever tommy boy found out what they were up to and killed 'em first. ha ha. but yeah I wonder about that kinda stuff all the time... then I have to remember there would be no story if that happened

There would have been no story.

Time travel is a very dangerous art if someone slips up. If they go back that many decades they would be turning that time turner forever! And once they go back, they pretty much will have a horrible life because there will be his present self and his/her future self. It just wouldn't work. Also, changing one thing like that will have a profound effect on the future. It's like the vlinder effect. One small thing like someone not breathing one breath can make a HUGE difference ins something not even related somehow. The whole time space thing will be SO messed up. With all those people alive, there are certain scenarios in which it wouldn't make any sense for some other people to even BE alive because of the time thing.

if they killed volde early on then there wouldn't be a story. Harry, Ron and Hermione wouldn't be on that adventures that they had.

We were discussing this in my Harry Potter class ((yes my school has that as an english class))
and we noticed that, first of all, u cannot go vooruit, voorwaarts in time with a time turner. u have to wait out the time
in the book, they were able to time it just right when they used the time turner

MY POINT is that they'd be stuck in that time, and they'd have to wait years to get back if they went that far back in time

also, paradox. that's all i'm going to say about that
