Harry Potter Vraag

Should they have made the Harry Potter series into a tv series instead of a film series?

Personally, I think things would've been so much better if they adapted the boeken into a tv series instead of a film series. So much meer stuff from the boeken could've been added into the series. Plus, we wouldn't have had to wait as long for each follow up to come out. Instead of waiting a jaar of two, we would only have to wait a few months. Don't get me wrong I love the film series but again, I just feel like if they made it into a tv series, meer stuff from the boeken that wasn't in the films could've been in the tv series. Season 1 would be Sorcerer's (Philosopher's Stone), season 2 would be Chamber of Secrets, Season 3 would be Prisoner of Azkaban, season 4 would be Goblet of Fire, season 5 would be Order of The Phoenix, season 6 would be Half-Blood Prince and season 7 would be Deathly Hallows. I could definitely see myself binge-watching that. Course they would have to find a way to divide the stories of each season into separate episodes. There would definitely be major cliffhangers after each episode.

It could have worked. You're probably right in thinking that a TV series would omit less of the small details which book fans missed from the films (if they care enough to do a good adaptation, anyway). But don't most TV series have a smaller budget than films? They could have struggled to afford all the effects needed to make the HP world appear magical. Also, I don't think a TV series would have been that much faster - there's normally a jaar between each season, of longer if u have to work around busy actor schedules.

Well actually I've found each season are only a few months apart. Some shows wait longer to premiere a new season but a lot of shows only wait a few months between each season. Also, yeah I guess the CGI probably wouldn't be as good due to smaller budgets but to me, that's really a minor thing compared to the fact that a tv series could cover meer stuff from the boeken then the films did.

The start of each season is normally a jaar apart, at least, though. That's what I was trying to say. The gap between seasons is just shorter because you're taking longer to watch each individual season in comparison to a film.

Yes, but when does each season start on TV? For the majority of shows I've watched, season 1 might start in September this year, then season 2 would start in September volgende year, and so on. That's what I mean. Anyway, I think we're focusing too much on this little detail here.

I think that they should have made the films into a TV series instead because meer things from the boeken could be in the TV series and at the end of the TV series episode it would end on a note of suspense. It also would have been koeler, koelwagen if they made it into a TV series because there would be loads of different episodes but in the films there are only eight.
