So here I was doing my Latin homework (as u do) when I came across the word made so infamous thanks to House MD, in one of the passages I was to translate. Lupus. Yes, I zei lupus. (pfft to 'It's never lupus!') Anyway I've never come across this word in a translation before so I proceeded to look it up in my everso trusty dictionary and one of the meanings for it was wolf. See where I'm going with this? No? Then read on and you'll see - proided that u can decipher jibberish!

Now we all know that lupus is a serious disease and not one to be taken lightly. And also that it doesn't particularly relate to my artikel in any way but as the word itself.

Now I hope we are all familiar with the story of the boy who cried wolf. Remember the amount of times the boy cried wolf when there was no wolf? Much like House of his team saying in the beginning of Season 1 that it was lupus, when it wasn't in the end (OK, so it wasn't entirely their fault but still - beer with me). After there being no wolf on so many occasions, people stopped believing him, just like House not believing it'll ever be lupus, hence the infamous 'It's never lupus'. But there was one time when there really was a wolf but still no one believed him and u all know what the fate of the boy was. So when there was that one episode where the PotW had lupus, no one believed the diagnosis initially because it was never lupus.

The moral of this story? I don't know, it's just my (rather nonsensical) theory.

If u want to tell me to shut up because it really is a load of jibberish - go ahead.
If u agree - let me know.
That's all guys! =]

Time for some analysis y'all!

I'm gonna just jump right in here with my thoughts. I have many.

Amber, The Psyche

Hallucination Amber is a little creepier than the live version of Amber that we knew in season 4. But she is merely a representation of House's subconscious, that has been manifested due to his feelings of guilt. To me, it is obvious why this has happened:

1) House is the master of guilt suppression. He regularly does things that the average person would feel incredibly guilty about. But House shoves that away deep inside his brain. That isn't to say that he doesn't feel guilty; it just...

A/N: Not for the squeamish!! This chapter details House's injuries, in a clinical sort of way, but it's still quite shocking and disturbing...consider yourselves warned! :P

Chapter 5

Wilson hurried into the room, closing the door carefully behind him before moving swiftly around the gurney to face his friend. Though House was moaning and writhing on the narrow bed, as if desperately struggling to escape some unseen foe, his eyes were closed, and he might have appeared to be asleep and battling a nightmare, had Wilson not known better.

This was a textbook PTSD flashback.

"No...please!" House fairly...
