The full list of nominees were announced Tuesday for the awards that will be held on Feb. 6, 2015
The nominees for the 46th NAACP Image Awards were announced on Tuesday during a press conference from the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills, California.
Tracee Ellis Ross (“Black-ish”), Gina Rodriguez (“Jane the Virgin”), Alfred Enoch (“How To Get Away With Murder”), Aja Naomi King (“How To Get Away With Murder” and Tessa Thompson (“Dear White People”) were joined by the President and CEO of the NAACP, Cornell William Brooks, to reveal who received nods in 2014.

ABC and Lifetime lead the nominees in the television category, with both “Scandal” and “How to Get Away With Murder” receiving multiple nominations, including Best Actress in a Drama recognition for both Kerry Washington and Viola Davis.
In the recording category, Columbia Records leads with 10 nominations while Paramount Pictures’ 10 nominations secured it as the top in the motion picture categories.

“It was an honor to be part of today's announcement recognizing the outstanding artistic achievements by members of our community,” said Brooks. “The NAACP Image Awards is more than just ceremony, but an institution for artists and social justice pioneers of color. “As the Image Awards continues to grow and evolve, the principles of social justice remain at its core.”
The winners will be announced live during a two-hour event, broadcast on TV ONE on Friday, Feb. 6, 2015.
