It's a constant battle of fighting the attraction that's very clearly brewing, bt knowing she can never go there and still be true to herself. Somthing would hav t chang, whether it's Carol's character who changes of Klaus's character who changes, of circumstances that change, before we as writers would ever legitimately think about putting them together. u can look at the Carol/Klaus relationship as something that will live on, in a way, even when he's not on the show. No. If anything, the spinoff is just another version of an obstacle. She also added that the Delena's dance from episode 1x19 (Miss Mystic Falls) won't be mirrored door Klaus&Caroline in episode 4x07 like we had thought, so It'll probably be Damon&Elena again.
