One Direction will make one cancer-stricken fan\'s dream come true when they kick off their On The Road Again Tour in Australia on Saturday night.

NSW teenager Georgia was found to have two aggressive stage four tumours on her brain over Christmas and after a series of high-risk operations, will be given leave to attend her favourite pop group\'s concert at the weekend.

Georgia\'s father Peter Khoury told Daily Mail Australia it was a dream come true after KIISFM gifted his beloved daughter with the VIP tickets to the 1D concert at Allianz Stadium.

\'She’s very excited. She hasn\'t had too much go her way over the last six weeks. The fact that she’s going to get taken out in a limousine… to someone her age, that’s pretty important,\' Peter added.

The English pop group touched down in Australia this week will kick off their On The Road Again world tour in Sydney at the weekend

While Peter admittedly isn\'t a One Direction fan, he said he\'ll happily go to the gig and \'would gladly do anything\' for his child: \'If it pleases her, I’ll do anything. And it’s another memory with me and her,\' he said.

Before adding the night out on the town will be a welcome change from hospitals and doctor\'s offices. \'This bad turn of events started on boxing day so she has had nothing go her way pretty much since so it’s well deserved.\'

\'It’s a nice break because we\'ve been in and out of hospital for five weeks,\' Peter concluded. 

The 14-year-old student\'s plight brought KIISFM host Jackie \'O\' Henderson to tears live on radio when her aunt wrote a letter to the show in the hope of putting a smile on her severely ill niece\'s face.

Georgia\'s concerned father Peter spoke to Jackie and co-host Kyle Sandilands explaining that they only discovered the aggressive tumour after a persistent headache left the teen vomiting from pain.  She was rushed to hospital last month for a life-saving operation to remove the first of her tumours.

The second was deemed too risky to operate on at the time but was soon discovered to be progressing aggressively and at stage four - the highest grade of diagnosis meaning the cancer is at a stage where it is likely to spread throughout the body.

With the potential of coming to with permanent loss of mobility or speech, she went under the knife for a second time last week.

Sadness: Seasoned radio host Jackie \'O\' Henderson was brought to tears upon hearing Georgia\'s plight

Her father was overwhelmed to reveal the procedure was a success saying: \'Before they removed the second [tumour] they were looking to treat her now they\'re looking to cure her.\'

Georgia is due to start an intensive daily chemotherapy treatment but will be given leave to attend One Direction\'s debut Australian concert at Sydney\'s Allianz Stadium first. 

\'All she asked is just to be normal, she just wanted to go to school with everyone else,\' Peter said of his daughter who is still struggling to come to terms with her diagnosis. 

Jackie was incredibly moved by the tale and was brought to tears on air while reading out a letter written by Georgia\'s aunt.

Emotion clearly audible in her voice, the seasoned radio host was forced to stop reading to compose herself.

Sydney mother Melissa Carr will be at One Direction\'s concert on Sunday night with her daughter Charlie who has been battling a form of cancer named Neuroblastoma since she was just eight-months-old.

The brave girl, who is now eight and started her 28th cycle of chemotherapy on Monday, says meeting the boys behind the band is at \'the top of her wish list\' and her mother launched a public plea this week to try and make it happen.

Melissa explained her daughter\'s condition in post shared to the group\'s Facebook page and has already garnered over 500 likes.

\'Dear One D, I am bringing my daughter Charlie to your Sydney concert on Sunday night,\' she wrote.

\'As Charlie\'s life has been very challenging so far, this year we are trying to fill her life with happiness, laughter and fun times by fulfilling as many of Charlie\'s wishes as we can.

\'At the top of her list is meeting One D on Sunday. If there is any way this can be organised I would be forever grateful.\'

Other users have since joined Melissa\'s cause and have been sending their own messages to the band on young Charlie\'s behalf.

Connie Samye Osgood from California wrote: \'Please check in with Melissa Carr and lil Charlie in Australia.. she made a wish ..it\'s all about you xo\'.

So brave: Young Charlie has been battling cancer since she was just eight-months-old and began her 28th cycle of chemotherapy on Monday

While international women\'s group The Sista Code said: \'One Direction you can make a difference to this brave little girl, Charlie... She has been battling Neuroblastoma for 8yrs, since she was only 8mths old, and would love to meet you when you come to Australia....

\'Can you make a sick little girls dream come true? We hope so!!!\'

Daily Mail Australia can reveal that Charlie will be meeting the band members at their concert after the Make A Wish foundation was contacted on her behalf. 

She will be one of ten sick children scheduled to meet the boys on Sunday night.

Singers Harry Styles, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson touched down in Sydney on Friday morning ahead of their first show.

Fellow band member Liam Payne arrived on Thursday while Niall Horan is still due to fly in from Melbourne.

Tickets are still available for some of their shows and prices were this week slashed for seats in B and C reserve sections.
