I remember visiting this website once...
It was called sjees, gig REVIEW: One Direction bring the On The Road Again tour to London's O2
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
We popped down to London\'s O2 Arena last night with butterflies in our bellies and joy in our hearts, to watch One Direction kick off the UK leg of their On The Road Again Tour. But was it any good? Well, you\'d better read on and find out, hadn\'t you?
OH and don\'t miss the video of our Snapchat story from the night at the end - we filmed EVERYTHING just fo\' you.
Ooh yeah - staging\'s had a bit of a change up, and it\'s looking snazzier than a pair of Harry Styles\' boots. Sidenote: he was wearing a particularly jazzy gold pair last night.
Featuring some graffiti-esque sort of scribble designs (terrible description, sorry) and a RED LAZER CAGE OF JOY (see pic above) the whole thing felt pretty epic.
OK so there\'s no flying platform a la the Take Me Home Tour, or a huge raised box as seen in the Where We Are days, but the small and very much grounded B stage actually made the whole thing feel a lot more intimate, no mean feat in a room full of 70,000 screaming people.
Now if they could just have a skateboarding competition on that ramp bit, our lives would be complete.
HOLD UP, because this is exciting. Yup, the stage isn\'t the only thing that\'s had a revamp, because the boys have switched up the setlist too (it\'s so new they had to keep checking what they were singing next) with a whole new order and a couple of new tracks. Look, here it is, in all its glory.
In case you were wondering, our absolute faves had to be \'Girl Almighty\' (because we\'ve never seen anyone move quite like Harry did during that track), \'Act My Age\' (because ANTHEM) and \'No Control\' (because Louiiiiiiiiis).
Oh where do we even START. Ok so you\'ve probably heard all about the \'technical difficulties\' the boys suffered during \'Night Changes\' by now, right? Well, far from ruining the show, we\'re going to come right out and say it actually made it 100 times BETTER.
The unscheduled pause meant the boys were able to showcase the hilarious sides that we know and love, messing around, joking with each other/the audience, and spontaneously launching into an acoustic rendition of new track \'Infinity\'. Can they have sound issues every night pls?
We love a good kiss cam at the best of times, but when it\'s led by Harry Styles chanting \'KISS HER KISS HER KISS HER\' there\'s really nothing better in this world.
We\'ve seen One Direction live several times now, and we can honestly say that they\'ve never sounded better. The harmonies are polished, their stage presence is off the charts and they\'re hitting those ZM high notes to absolute perfection. We didn\'t want it to end.
Oh go home, ur drunk. Ok yeah - maybe the part when it ended.
Do you even have to ask? 5 stars. 6 STARS. ******
Now watch our Snapchat story from the night right here, you sassy little sausage:
