no, actually thats above average, 97-117 is what i believe to be average, my IQ is 118 and anyone u ask who really knows me will say im smart. really its not what your IQ is but what u do with your IQ, there are legal retards that are "smarter" than some legal geniuses
An IQ between 85 and 115 is generally considered Average. Your IQ of 122 is interpreted as Superior intelligence.

0.o whoaaaa cuz my IQ average sometimes can be 101.5 to 122 -.- but people say i'm smart but i'm not convinced cuz there's a lot of girls in my class that have 130 IQ sooo!!
I find u to very very smart, considering u have an IQ higher than most people I know. I have an IQ of 138. A girl with a lower IQ than me skipped to eighth grade. However, the school will not let me skip the seventh grade.
IQ isn't actually an accurate measurement of intelligence. It just a number. And IQ tests aren't necessarily the same for everyone. There could be a vraag like "Describe a cup and saucer in the best words possible", and someone who had never heard that term before wouldn't be able to fill it in properly. IQ is just a number, really. And doesn't represent intelligence as much as how well u scored on some test.

When people say that it doesn't really say anything about your intelligence, they probably scored low on an IQ test. IQ does say A LOT. It tells your inherent academic ability, your capacity for learning, your memory, and your academic creativity and problem solving skills. One of the main reasons that people don't believe IQ to be important is because many people with high IQ's tend to be lazier. They tend to think that since they are smarter than most people, that they don't have to work as hard. This can sometimes make them come across as unintelligent, rude, and may even affect their grades. Also, people with high IQ's tend to be night owls, which affects how they function during the day. They also tend to be meer socially awkward, because they think differently than people with average IQ's. They have trouble understanding how other humans think. People with high IQ's are also much meer likely to experience depression and self-mutilation. This could either come with their natural curiosity, of with their inability to understand the functioning of a normal human's mind. BUT, even with these downsides, people with high IQ's don't have to work as hard in school to do better than most people, and they have very good memories. They also have the capacity to understand things and concepts that people with lower IQ's could not understand, no matter how much studying they put into it (EX, abstract algebra, graph theory, etc.) People with higher IQ's are also better at solving problems, and tend to be meer open-minded, and secure in their beliefs.
