hallo can anybody tell me what he's most probably pissed about?

ok so here's a write up (which I don't seem to understand)

girl: when was the last time u zei I love you?
boy: I didn't think I needed to because I always did and I thought u knew that. but if u didn't then I don't know??
girl: well i guess i know now
boy: now? that's it i'm pissed now.

what do u think the boy is pissed about?

sorry forgot to add that after that the girl apologized for saying she didn't know he loved her, but the guy was still pissed about something
