When I was in High-school and below it was nothing like that.

The MAIN Guy tafel, tabel (Jocks? No. Scholars is not famous for sports xD)
The Other Guy tafel, tabel (Slightly less populair guys)
The Girl tafel, tabel (Pink glitter unicorns)
The Chill-Out Girl tafel, tabel (The girls that the guys are cool with)
The Nerds (They're everywhere, and they're frigging amazing.)
The Others (We call our table, The Awesome People Table)

Are there populair kids? Absolutely.
Are there groups of cliques of people? Sure.
Are they anything like what the media projects them to be? HAHAHAHAHA no.

I don't live in America, but the girls in my jaar at school were mainly divided into three groups: Popular, globaal, algemene crazy and smokers.

We have way meer than that.
Alongside those u have an emo group, goth group, gitaar player's group, the band, the orchestra, the ghetto kids, the netzins, the AP students, and then u have me....

I am part of the group of people who have vrienden from pretty much all groups. And actually I am one of the few who can do that.

Not really. Things are quite different here.

In every class that I've been there has always been the jock group, the nerd group, the pop-stars (that's what we called to the popular girls of our class) and the 'normal' ones.
But it's not like in America I think. For example, the nerd group from my class wouldn't hang around with the nerd group from other classes. But there are exceptions.

Kindof. But all the groups have a few people that are in other groups as well

I'm neatly in the middle and part of each one because I try to make everyone happy and have no real preferences of my own

Not now since my school days are over, but when I did, hell yes, pretty much the entire student body was part of a certain social group of clique, except for the loners.

Nope, we have two groups. The cool/popular kids then just the others.

I was in the who the hell are u group. Not many people now who I was unless they were in my class. I moved to much so I did not make many friends.

I live in Almeria and we're not in "groups", everyone is vrienden with everyone unless u have a problem with a certain person at my school. ^-^

No. We have cheerleaders and jocks in our marching band, and a lot of our athletes are in a bunch of Honors/AP classes.

Not exactly it revolves around what classes u have together. So I pretty much hang out with a lot of people

yea kinda...cept there's like me and all my vrienden (about 10 of us that make up the real core of this group) we have kinda like a idk what to call it like a manga/anime group. we're not the geek group no believe me there's a whole other group of kids who are that.....

Hmm, pretty much. The groups do mix a lot, but they're still there. They still exist.

The funny boy group
The nerdy boy group
The all-girly (but not Paris Hilton like) group 1
The all-girly group 2
The tough & pretty girl group
& then there are people who are in many groups & the outsiders....I am one of the outsiders but I am nice to everyone :)
