no u can't be drunk 4 every little thing that gets in your way or in your mood.. sometimes u Got to think about it and take a little time 4 what u did 4 that mistakes...

Depends on why you got drunk in the first place.

It depends on a lot of factors. The magnitude of the mistake, the reason/circumstances in which the person was drinking etc. For example, someone who goes to a party and gets drunk, then gets in their car and causes an accident is most definitely at fault.
Someone who goes to a family Christmas party, gets tipsy and spills the peanuts on the floor- well, no big deal. If alcohol is served at a party, accidents will happen.
But if someone is an alcoholic and repeatedly imbibes and makes mistakes, they're responsible for getting into their condition but also helpless against it. It's an addiction and most times can't be conquered without help.

and theres no excuse for being drunk

umm the question asked if it's an acceptable excuse to be DRUNK, not a little bit tipsy knocking over a bowl, BIG difference, and no it's not, it may be the reason something happened, and regardless of how big or small the mistake is, being drunk is not an acceptable reason for it

I think alot of people just use 'being drunk' as an excuse.

Not really. If you can't handle your drink then don't freaking drink in the first place. Simple as that.

this is a difficult question i mean i think that being drunk undoubtfully causes mistakes and its an excuse but there is no reason to get drunk you still have to take accountability but that is a valid reason for making a mistake if you get what i mean
