Alaric & Jo:
Story: (I don't know them, so honestly I'm not sure) They met when Alaric was in a bit of a bad place, but they were attracted to each other right away, and soon enough their relationship turned into something more serious, and got married. Unfortunately Jo died before they even got to start their life together.

Elijah & Katherine:
Story: They met when Katherine was, officially, visiting his brother, Klaus, who had evil plans for her. Elijah, however, fell for Katherine, and they spent a lot of time together, mostly as friends in Katherine's mind. Years and years later they met again, and were reunited, in love for a time. Until they were broken off.

Finnick & Annie:
Story: They were in love before the story began. Annie had been traumatized by the Hunger Games, and Finnick always took care of her. When the rebellion started, they were reunited and they were happy for a time. They even got married in a resistance base. Unfortunately, it.. well, didn't... you know.

Story: (I don't know them, so again I may be off) Their relationship was very sexually tensioned and badass from the get go. They were both very badass and determined people, and together they made a great team and completed each other in many ways.

Michael & Sara:
Story: (I don't know them so I'm assuming) The two of them met when Michael was in prison, and they clicked immediately. Sara was a little hesitant towards starting anything, but eventually they became a very loving, very happy couple that supported each other through everything. Unfortunately in the end Michael died.

Story: They were friends at first, and Caroline really helped Tyler with accepting his werewolf curse.
