Oh, a man is placed upon the steps, a baby cries, and high above u can hear the church bells start to ring. And as the heaviness, oh the heaviness, the body settles in. Somewhere u can hear a mother sing.
"Put on your shoes, girls. We're going for a ride." I sighed and stood up. I could hear my cousin sobbing still, even about an uur after he was gone. We tried to comfort her, but it was no use.
Then it's one foot, then the other as u step out on the road of hope. Step out on the road. How much weight? How much? Then it's how long, and how far? And how many times, oh, before it's too late?...
