Short Backstory: Scarmine was Ferron's younger brother. After having his innocence destroyed when he suffered the same neglect and treatment that Ferron had from their father, he escaped with Ferron on the dag he ran away and the two took care of eachother from then on. After some adventuring around Mobius, they found an opportunity to get a place of their own in Sandhillville. A rumored "haunted" house was zei to be located on the outskirts of the town. No one had ever gone there since the rumors began, and they wondered what they would do with the house. They came across the challenge in an advertisement, saying that whoever would go to the house and drive away the ghosts would gain ownership over it. The people feared the spirits meer than anything. The rumors turned out to be fake, at least nothing that bothered Ferron and Scarmine, so they returned to the mayor of Sandhillville to claim their reward. The city council was hesitate to turn the property over to the kids, even though Ferron was 14 door now, he was still considered a kid. A public vote sided with Ferron and Scarmine, forcing the town to honor their word and give the property to them. They lived there for a couple years happily, Scarmine at first looking up to Ferron, admiring his strength and bravery and striving himself to be like Ferron. When Scarmine discovered that he didn't share the same abilities that Ferron had, he began to feel jelous of Ferron. Beginning to get sick of Ferron's constant over protection and treatment like he was still a little kid, he aquired a black wooden nunchuck and faced his brother to prove he was grown up. He didnt win the fight, but Ferron acknowledged his brother to be the grown up he wanted him to believe he was. Ferron was reluctant to let Scarmine go off on his own, but he wanted Scarmine to become a strong man one day, so he agreed to let Scarmine go off on his own to see what he could become. Though Ferron kept in contact with him door phone, he rarely ever saw him too often. One day, Ferron had a big attack from his disease, and was in the hospital. When Scarmine heard that Ferron needed a transplant, he knew he would be the only match that would be close enough for Ferron. Despite the doctor's assurance that Scarmine had a high survival probability, an accident during the operation cost Scarmine his life. Ferron has carried this burden ever since, and his brother is still a sensitive topic for him.
