I remember visiting this website once...
It was called The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 Soundtrack Has Chvrches, Haim, Pusha T, Charli XCX, Bat For Lashes, & Kanye’s Lorde Remix - Stereogum
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:

In between stops on her summer tour, Lorde curated the soundtrack to the upcoming blockbuster
. We’ve already heard some of her handiwork in her solo cut “Yellow Flicker Beat” as well as “This Is Not A Game,” her collaboration with the Chemical Brothers and Miguel that premiered earlier today. Now, since it’s already Tuesday in the UK, the entire soundtrack tracklist has been revealed via an iTunes UK preorder page. It’s impressive! In addition to new tracks from emerging talents like Tove Lo, Raury, and Tinashé, the comp features some unexpected collaborations including a Kanye remix of Lorde, Charli XCX with Duran Duran’s Simon Le Bon, and the ambitious grouping of Stromae with Lorde, Pusha T, Q-Tip, and HAIM. Check it out below.
01 Stromae – “Meltdown” (Feat. Lorde, Pusha T, Q-Tip, And HAIM)
04 Charli XCX – “Kingdom” (Feat. Simon Le Bon)
11 Lorde – “Flicker (Kanye West Rework)”
13 The Chemical Brothers – “This Is Not A Game” (Feat. Miguel And Lorde)
Yes, that last Lorde cut is a Bright Eyes cover.
Track #5 will apparently be revealed later, but my money’s on a song by the Lumineers (who were rumored to appear) or Jennifer Lawrence’s cover of “Push.”

Well I have to imagine there’s some executives sitting around right now trying to figure out how they can get Lorde to curate the soundtrack to Pt 2. Unless the tracks we haven’t heard completely suck, that’s a very impressive effort.
Damn you. I had almost broke myself of “ya ya ya”. My friends, family, and co-workers have SO enjoyed the past week. “Please schedule that for shipping tomorrow, not thursday. Ya ya ya”
I’m pretty sure that the “Kanye West Rework” is actually the rework of “Flashing Lights” she’s been doing live and not a remix of “Yellow Flicker Beat” by Kanye West.
It’s annoying that smaller sites like Stereogum and Pitchfork create such confusion by running their false assumptions and inferences as headlines without actually ever bothering to confirm their information before publishing it.
I’m guessing it must just be because Pitchfork and Stereogum are too small potatoes to warrant a call or an email back from Lorde or Kanye’s PR outfits.
You make a really good point. There’s NOTHING worse than somebody just taking pot shots at what they think is happening behind the scenes of an enterprise they know virtually nothing about.
I love the idea of someone angrily creating an account and leaving a comment on a website they consider just “too small potatoes” to appropriately cover Lorde and Kanye.
Craps player, come check out This Week in Pop with us!
Me too. But let me throw this out there……..I just re-read Craps Players post and I came to a stunning and very insightful conclusion……Craps Player IS KANYE WEST!!
Hm. Possibly. But Craps Player didn’t mention anything about typing angrily on a Macbook Air, so I’m slightly skeptical.
I cannot argue with that logic. Also….. there’s no evidence that Craps Player is gay and/or a fish. In my zeal for a logical explanation for his anger I rushed to judgement. My apologies.
Glad to hear that you you like outdated comedic references just as much as outdated butt rock. http://noisey.vice.com/blog/kanye-gay-fish-signs-bonnaroo
If Pitchfork and Stereogum are the definition of small potatoes, then load me up with starches. Hopefully there’s plenty of room on Billboard and Variety for ‘craps player.’ He can comment on the Hot 100 singles..
