Hi guys, I will be doing another comparison between 2 movies. Only this time, it is the Lion King and Titanic. Two highest grossing films of our generations!

The Lion King

This was the very first movie that I watched and I love all of the songs. However, the story is based on Shakespeare's Hamlet: Prince of Denmark. Unlike the latter, Mufasa's death is really graphic that I feel disturbed about it and hearing Mufasa's scream down to his death if I were in Simba's place!
Scar is portrayed as a paranoid psychopath, whenever somebody mention his dead brother. He will flies into rage! In fact, he reminds me of Caledon Hockley in Titanic. I will be talking about that later, Simba is of course a carbon copy of Hamlet, and he also sees his dad's spirit later in the movie. It was a very motivational and moving scene that I cried my hart-, hart out!
Unlike The Lion King, Hamlet has a sad ending in which the titel character dies after he fights with his uncle. Before this, he tells Horatio to fulfill his responsibilities as King of Denmark and rule the country peacefully.

Titanic

While watching this again, the film reminds me of West Side Story and Romeo and Juliet. This is because a poor guy was in a relationship with a rich girl, unfortunately Rose's mother disapproves because she sets up Rose with Cal for money and for her own personal gains.
Okay, as promised when I zei that Scar reminds me of Caledon, is that when the ship sank. The latter reviews his true nature of being a psychopath when he attempts to kill Jack! His jealousy made him that way, so that's why Caledon and Scar are equal, especially in personality and their motives!
Speaking of Jack, he is a combination of Tony and Romeo. Mainly because they were being ridiculed, especially Tony and Jack during the Rumble and the ship was sinking respectively.
Finally, the ending when Jack dies it reminds me of the ending of West Side Story. Due to the fact that Tony died, unlike the latter, Jack died of Hypothermia while Tony was slain door Chino. But in the end, Rose's spirit reunites with Jack and all those whose lives were perished.

Shakespearean Mood

So, if you're a Shakespearean fan, u will notice the similarities in these movies.

The first of the sun rays peeked over the horizon as Mabaya woke up.She let out a big yawn and heaved herself to her paws. She peeked out of the cave she lived in with all the other outlanders. She could see the fresh-kill pile, but there wasn't that much food instead of three scrawny field mice. She started to head over to the pile when something hit here. She rolled over and over when she hit into something. She then looked up into the face of Nuka.''What was that for''he asked, glaring angrily at her.''Sorry''she zei scrambling to her paws.''You better be''he growled, biting at his flank.Mabaya...

This is NOT another rant about canon. No. This is about something I find rather sad instead of annoying.

Why doess this fandom's situation sadden me? Why do I take this so seriously? Why do I bother writing a lengthy artikel like this? Because I don't think Disney is ALL about enrichening people's life and encouraging creativity. It is essentially also about teaching values and morals. The whole point of this artikel is to remind people of that and how because of that any conspiracy theories and fan-made stories should not be falsely claimed as what really happened.

I honestly believe Disney...

I don't think so. And as canon I now mean the sequel movie The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride because it's the main bron for those theories.

It's true, they can't toon every little detail about crucial plot parts in a film. But what they can do is refer to everything crucial. Like, in this case, if there had been another cub before Kiara, they could've and would've zei so in the film.

In example, they could've had Simba and Nala briefly discuss it instead of how much Kiara reminds them of Simba. Or, combined the two topics.

Nala: "She's just like u when u were young."
Simba could've replied...

Hi everyone, I just want to say before Frozen came into the picture. The Lion King had a number of things that taught me while I first watch this movie many years ago, here they are.

Let it Go!

Yes, the Lion King had actually taught us to let go of our past. It also taught me to improve my future along the way while learning from my mistakes in life, our life is full of ups and downs.

Parental Love

It also promotes about loving your parents like Simba and Mufasa did, I really love my parents despite that we do not agree on a number of things, especially with my relationship with my mother.

The cirkel of Life

5 years ago, my favourite dog pet died unexpectedly and I was really sad over it. But I managed to let go of it because it's part of the cirkel of Life, and I truly understood this line.

Thank u Simba!

These are the 3 reasons on why the movie will always cherish in my heart. So, do u agree?
