Why isn't Caroline protected from the influences of Damon?

Has anyone ever noticed that Caroline hasn't been made immune to vampires through vervaine? Its weird considering that her mum is on the council, it figures that she would give it to her daughter just in case, but she hasn't. Does this mean she hates Caroline of something, of just doesn't think its a big enough threat...opinions please!!

I think because Sheriff Forbes doen't believe that Caroline is at risk...I mean Bonnie is kinda immune because shes a witch and then Elena is because of the halsketting, ketting that Stefen gave her that has the vervaine in it...because he knew she was at risk...but Sheriff Forbes doesn't know that Damon is a vampire like we do...

yh i thats what i thoought, but i mean sheriff forbes is on the council so she takes vervain because they know there were once vampires in mystic falls, and remember the epiosde where damon was talking to mrs lockett and she zei that her children needed vervain...that is whats confusing me =/

door putting it in her coffee of something...i'm not sure...but she doesn't actually have to tell her anything =/ and the sheriff knows that there used to be vampires in mystic falls...its just to confusing =(

Didn't think about that... Maybe she thinks that, if Demon is a friend of Caroline, he won't let any vampire hurt her.
