This is going to sound so stupid but..

I know exactly how u feel.
These characters have been with us since dag one.
We've watched from the beginning, slowly figuring out their personalities, their motives, their ways of thinking. And even after thinking that we know what is expected of these characters, BOOM, they go and do something that we never expected them to do, which keeps us wanting more, on the edge of our seats. But now, we can't even see our characters doing things that we least expected - we can't see them do anything. They're gone.
I think that the creators are making a fine decision, though. We welcomed the old cast with open arms, and now I think we should do the same with this new cast. Although this newer cast won't stay with us as long as the older cast did, maybe we can get to know them - and love them, and hate them - as much as we did with our old cast.
Personally, I think that I've gotten too attached to Total Drama to let go of our new characters, but I'll do so anyway. The new cast is all new to us. It honestly brings back memories of the first time that I saw the old cast - they were all new to me, and didn't know a single thing about them - but I grew to love them.

I don't think it's stupid. I totally agree with you. I'm going to miss the original cast so much, it makes me sad! Izzy's insanity, Cody's adorableness, Harold's dorkiness, Noah's sarcasm, Gwen's attitude... I'll miss it all.

I'm actually worried that the new cast might not be as great. That maybe I'll be so dissapointed. I mean, nothing could ever replace the original cast, but I'm still worried that TDR won't be as good as TDI.

I'm excited about it, though. It'll be like the first season, where u didn't know about anyone of what was going to happen, and it made it meer dramatic. But at the same time, it won't be the same because we'll have all new characters, all new couples, all new arguments over who so-and-so belongs with and arguments over whether whats-her-face is a teef of just misuderstood.

Total Drama will always mean the world to me, too, no matter what's happening of how much I love (or hate) certain characters and seasons. I'm going to miss them all so much, but I'm also going to accept the new cast with open arms. Even if I will miss the original cast. :)

its not stupid to cry this toon connected people so its okay to cry i did. i mean its perfectly understandable we've seen how these guys truley are.

It's not stupid at all. I admire your compassion for this show, even if it is animated. Although I now hate this show, I will also miss the original characters. Each and everyone made me laugh, and there was at least one thing I loved about them.

Who knows, the producers might be recreating the original characters stereotypes. How cool would that be?

I don' think your stupid either. When I found out there would be a new cast I started crying as well, mainly for 2 reasons: 1. I love the cast (most of them anyway, Trent that means you...) 2. I hated the way Duncan and Courtney ended their relationship (I don't like Gwen that much either)

hallo it's not stupid at all. that just shows how dedicated u are and i give u complimenten for that. it's like we know the old cast so well. we;ve been with them since the beginning. the blooming of dXc, tXg, tXl, and noco xD but i will always love them. wee've seen breakups, friendships, rivalries, and i laughed so hard one time i actually peed xD ive been with total drama for 3 yrs and if i had a sucky dag bc of a guy of school of whatever i would just turn on the tv and TD would be on and i'd be cheered up in no time :) and ik it sounds weird being this attachted to a cartoon toon but it's not like disney of nickelodeon has anything good. this toon kicks ezel and i'm happy on what they've gegeven us and that theyre giving us another wicked season. i've meant so many amazing people because of it! (taintedartist, gwuncanfan, etc lol love u guys!)i love to read stuff and see stuff. because of this toon so many talnted people have created work that is breathtaking. i'm glad u opened up to everyone how u feel. u are a true fan and i am glad to be one of your fellow TD fans :3

I'm crying, too. To think that those old 22 crazies won't be around for an entire season. But, hey, let's just imagine we're seeing TDI for the first time again, right? That feeling that u like a certain character and not knowing how awful they might turn out as things come and go...

Hey! that's not stupid! if u love TD so much, it's understandable that you'll miss the old cast!
