well i didn't know we'd be taking off from where we left off... otherwise i would have used Cap... but now it's a bit too late to use him... but i think he deserves a his own little goodbye story anyway...

~When everyone decided it was time to leave the broken down store Cap wanted to head East towards the bay. but mostly everyone else wanted to head towards a safer point farther inland, away from the city. He was determined to reach that coast, not just because he could find a boat and sail away, but also because he wanted to find his old ship, crashed or not. He was tired of drawing blanks in his past and not knowing what had happened... he would have some closure, or he would die trying. on the day the survivors began to set out, he bid them farewell and began walking down the road away from them. he disappeared as a speck on the horizon as they walked toward their new base. no one has heard of Cap since, whether he lived and found the truth, is trying to find the truth, or has died trying is unknown...

Bio *introduction of a character*~
he was just walking around the department store's roof. he didn't have any weapons on him besides his combat knife that was in a strap on his backpack. he had left the rest down in the storage room. but he didn't need a weapon where he was at. the zombies had no way of climbing up and getting him. he just had a pair of binoculars that he always carried around in his pack. he was surveying the area, and watching the chaos ensue at the supermarket. he didn't say anything or make much noise, in fact the only thing his ears couldn't turn out was the sound of his breath going through his mask. when he tuned in he could hear below talking and movement, something must be going on. he was staring off through the binoculars at the wandering zombies. they seemed to be going toward the supermarket as a whole. most had reached that destination and had joined the horde, but there was a few stragglers.

one he was focusing on was a women who couldn't have been more than 30 who had a sever limp, which made her fall behind most of the faster walking zombies. her entire right foot was almost broken off and she was basically walking on the side of her ankle. her left arm was pretty severely tore up but her other arm seemed fine. she had some small thin object in her right hand, almost like a small stick, she must have had a death grip on it before she turned. her face was half burned he didn't know what had burned her but he assumed that it was accidentally self-inflicted. she had one shoe on her good foot and the other only had a ripped sock. she had a pair of shredded jeans on and a bloody, filthy T-shirt. he just frowned. most people would think that she was just another stumbling, flesh eating zombie, and that was true. but that's not what had upset him. it was what was written on that shirt. although smeared with filth and bile he could still make out the words. it read 'worlds proudest mom'. and with his binoculars he could see what she was carrying... a young child's arm...

it made him sick to his stomach. he stop looking through his binoculars and sat down on a small stool that had been left up there from previous owners. he wanted to go out there and kill that creature and check her pockets for her ID... he wanted to know what family the infection had destroyed this time. but it was too dangerous for him to got venturing out that far in search of something that might not even be on her. sad to think that she probably tried to do everything she could to protect her child...

he heard more noise coming from below. it brought him out of his deep thinking and back to reality. it was the other survivors, he wished he knew there names but he never bothered to ask. he wasn't much of a talker and didn't really see the need to socialize. he would just quietly stare and listen in while he stood in the background as they talked. he wasn't shy or anything, but he just never felt like talking to them. he never really felt like talking at all. he was glad for the mask, hiding his emotions and his expressions from others. only he knew what he was feeling anyway, why let other's pretend they do too.

he stood up and went back to surveying, he wasn't helping anyone by doing it. but at least he would know the surroundings better. and maybe even find some zombies with ID's with pictures on them to help remember them for who they were... that's what his specialty was after all... remembering.

He never really payed much attention to stuff, other that gaming. Probably because the real world was just too boring for him... an adventure seeker perhaps. So he started learning, inventing, creating!
every fragment of boredom he found inside him, were burned by this new fire...

Playing was his favorite hobby... just sitting there, killing evil creatures from another dimension, planning ways to sabotage the enemies... making weapons he saw in his favorite games in real life were the best moments of his life...

now with the whole zombie apocalypse going on... the real world was his playground...

I hear a faint moan around the corner. I supposed it wasnt mutch, since the Deparment store we were currently living in was barricaded.
I walk towards the storage room where would keep all our supplies. I rummage through them, noticing that our food and water supply was low. It could possibly last us a another day. I go back to the others.
Guys, our food and water supplies are quite low. I say. It could probably last us another day, but thats it.
Im going to go look for more supplies.
I know Im not quite a good scavenger. But we were low on supplies. What was I supposed to do?

IFB, Izzie and I go downtown where my gun trading center and training center used to be. I remember saving a few supplies there before moving in with Derp and the others. I pick the rusted lock on the door and go inside. Hopefully there arent any zombies in there.
I lead them towards the locked storage room. While taking out my key from my backpack I hear a moan. God, when did a zombie move into my old place?
I hand the key to Izzie while I take out Derp's Warrior's Rattlesnake. Bastard. I mutter under my breath. I kill him with one blow. But as soon as I do that, two other appeared. There shouldnt be anymore, I locked this place up.
Fuck this.

Bio~ he looks down from his binoculars and see's a car parked in front. how long has it been there? he didn't know, he was focused on a bridge a couple of miles from here that had collapsed. he was trying to read the name of the sign that was in front of it so he could get a better idea of location. he had been looking out all around for signs and such to help him determine his location if he ever found a map. unfortunately most of the signs he saw were in bad condition, knocked over, or too far away and he wasn't figuring much out.

he wondered what was up. what was so urgent that they needed to get to the car? it's not like they could drive far. he had had looked at all the roads in and out of this town, they were all blocked up with cars. he could only get 5 miles max... probably less, cause he couldn't see parts of the road because they were blocked from his line of sight. and how was everyone going to fit into that car? it wasn't that big.... maybe they could all fit if the packed in tightly. but they would be leaving all their resources behind...

he just stood up on the roof staring down at the car. where would they go if they left?

Phineas, Izzie and I run out of my old place. As I lock the door behind us, I see a blue light. Then a car. It was Derp and the others. I go over to the car and ask, "What the FUCK is going on?"

I know I'm not the leader of this group.... but I have to start giving some orders or this group will seriously fail

Bio~ well he has been given an order, but was not told why he was going out there or what he might find. what was he even doing out there anyway? he didn't know for sure but he assumed it was for scavenging or something. he climbed down off the roof and into the main area of the Department store. he grabbed a liter of water and put it in his backpack.

he walked up to the doors and exited the structure and began walking down towards his destination. he didn't trust the motive or the plan behind him going out there. but he could use a little break from all the talking and people. he didn't want to be lonely but sometimes he wanted his alone time. finding the balance was hard now a days. but this seemed like a good balancing time. the zombies were slow and spread thin in the direction he was walking, the hordes were more located below his location where all that noise had been made. so he could just take down zombies individually with his knife. on his way there he made sure to collect all the ID's he could.

he had gotten three of them out of the 9 zombies he had killed overall on his walk over there. which isn't that bad. at least three more people were going to be remembered now. he had now reached his destination. wasn't that long of a walk. things were calm where he was at and he quickly found a way to get on top of the building he was stationed at. he then pulled out his binoculars and went back to surveying the area, and periodically taking drinks from his water bottle. whenever he saw a straggler he made sure to get down there and kill them. then he would search for their ID.

eventually he decided to at least try and recover something for the group on this excursion, so now he began to search the building.

Frequently looking for danger he was a little thrilled by all this.. even though all his video games had zombies and monsters it in... none of those really prepared him for a real zombie apocalypse...
Wrapped by his thoughts he didn't realize that there was a survivor coming from a distance..

Survivor: Hey!
Me: .. who are you?
Survivor: My name is David... I'm from the church... can I join your team?
Me: um... I don't know... if you're from the church... why would you want to join us?... I mean. we're low on supplies and everything
Survivor: I was out scavenging and when I came back... nothing was there... something killed my friends and took everything we had... so I'm begging you... please! don't leave me like this!
