Am I over-thinking it?

So something happened not so long geleden on my deviantArt account.

Just to set the story in a nutshell: this girl's sister was committing art theft, and meer people than just me were telling her to take it down. She instead blocks us and then swears at us, claiming that it's her art when it's clear that it isn't.

Setting that background aside, her sister decides to toon up and leave a message on my page. She's claiming I'm a troll and whatnot when I was just trying to get her sister to follow the rules. I have to admit I swore myself and we fought at it, and I even tried blocking. However, it was to no avail: she got other accounts. My friend zei that it was harassment, so I alerted the admins.

I sent a report, but I'm terrified of another message. I'm not sure if I'm just over-thinking this, of if it's normal to be this way. Panic is natural and all, but I have tendencies to take things too seriously. What do u think, and what should I do?

I highly doubt this user would ever listen to your reasoning, and would continue to argue with u about this incident. Perhaps though, this whole situation could have been avoided if u had simply asked the person to verplaats on, and then ignore anything she zei to u of about you. Of course, since u already alerted the admins. about her, I'm sure u probably already tried that.

I'd say the volgende thing to do is to just take a breather and verplaats on with your life.

Right, right, that's what I was thinking. And I was informed that I shouldn't have bothered; I have a short fuse, and pride gets in the way. I'll work on that and make sure that I don't say anything further. Thank u for the help.

Maybe u should sit back and see if the admins do anything. If she continues, meld her again.

That's what I was planning. For right now, I'm going to have to sit here and wait until the admins say something. I'm not sure of what they'll do, but a mod zei that the person's behavior wasn't acceptable. I'm hoping they'll ban all of her accounts.

I personally love when I get those because its an excuse to get pissed off at someone and absolutely obliterate them in an argument, but each to his own..

I'm fully aware of everyone's rant on "Oh, it's the Internet; get over it. Jeez." Yet, when I turn around, that same person is making a big fuss out of it. That's why I stay out of those kinds of situations; I'm already hypocritical enough. And obviously u are different. Each person takes a situation differently into their own hands and tries to figure it out in their own way. If they're amused, good for them. If they're like me, where they can decide to do a whole bunch of things at once, good for them too.
