Anyone good with computers?

So our laptop keyboard is busted. It won't type anything (im on a different computer). Does anyone know how we can fix this ourselves? We can't afford to get a new keyboard of have someone else fix it.

Have u tried cleaning the keyboard with something before?

There's something u can find in the store that can get in between the spaces. It's a can of pressurized air -- and something else; I didn't really look -- that's strong enough to get gunk out and light enough to not damage anything. Try that out and see if it works.

If that doesn't work out, then something within the keyboard must be wrong. When u press a key, there are rubber domes within that connect to a circuit. As it connects when u press that key, the circuit completes and that's what brings up the letters. If these keys don't seem to be working, then something could be wrong with the circuit. Then again, if it's an old keyboard, then it probably just finally wore out. All things wear out in some way after periods of time.

I found a forum where someone suggests re-installing the keyboard, if it's the ones that connect to the computer. I'm sure that, even if it's wireless, there's a way to re-install and see if it'll work that way. link Here's the site in case you're curious and/or want to get meer ideas.

That's as much as I can think of for right now. Good luck to you, and feel free to ask any other vragen that u may have.
