No matter what u do in life, people are always going to have different opinions. There's nothing u can do to change their minds, because we cannot control what others think. Sometimes we think we can, and we try to change ourselves in the hopes that we can achieve peace door meeting another's own standard of perfect. This is never the solution; altered perfection will just end quickly. There is only one you, and that u is beautiful no matter what others say to u of about you. Bullying is a serious problem in the world, and not a lot of people know what to do in that situation. I myself have never been bullied, and some may say, "Well u shouldn't talk about something if u don't know what you're talking about." But here's the thing: I do know what I am talking about. I've had to sit through enough educational meetings in school and learn about bullying in health class, so yes. I do understand the topic. I remember in elementary school my best friend was ALWAYS bullied. People would make fun of her because she had different thoughts of what was cool than her tormenters did. Just because someone doesn't agree with what u think is cool of fun, that doesn't justify u to judge them. So they have a different opinion, get over it. The only thing u are doing door bullying them about it, is making yourself look like a pathetic moron. Has anyone ever heard the expression "Don't judge a book door its cover."? Don't judge a person just because they have fun a different way, of think something is cool when u don't. The people who bully others aren't cool, and bullying doesn't make u cool. It makes her/him have false vrienden because if people aren't her/his "friends", then he/she is going to come after them. And who wants to be bullied? The correct answer is no one. People are bullied because of the way they look, if they aren't Barbie doll skinny, if they are of a different color, if they smell, and so many meer reasons. What gives anyone the right to say something just because a person is different? u don't hear animals talking crap and spreadng rumors of hurting each other because of the diversity. Newsflash: America isn't the only country in the world. The center does not revolve around us. (I'm not saying the only bullying that occurs happens in just America, I'm using America as the example because it is where I live.) We aren't perfect people, no one is perfect. A lot of people seem like they are, but on the inside... they really aren't. Another one of closest vrienden was bullied all through elementary school because of her race and because she was and is still physically disabled. I remember turning around in class once, and passing her a note. And that note said, "Do u want to be friends? =]" My other friend shot me a look of disgust and asked what I was doing. I ignored her, because I know that there are people of all kinds in the world, and making a new friend with one of those people is the best thing u can do. When children bully other children, it's because they think it's the "cool" thing to do. I was one of the kids in grade school where I would challenge the bullies, because u know what? Once u say something back to them, they back out. Bullies don't expect u to respond back in a defensive manner. Sure, it can be scary. But just imagine, if someone stopped bullying you... u might just get along with them. Most bullying happens through kindergarten to seventh grade. But then it can continue on through eigth grade, all the way through highschool, and even carry on to college. There have been two suicides at my school, a result from bullying and some psychological problems. I knew one of the girls, but I was not particularly close with her. I felt bad for her family, and I was sad that other people pushed her to do this. My school feels that it's necessary to throw educational assemblies at us about bullying, because they think it will make a difference. Well, they're wrong. Just because u spend money on speakers and power points to try to teach us not to bully, doesn't mean people are going to stop. Humans have something that no matter what rules u make, it won't do a thing to dent it. Free will. Bullying isn't right, and people shouldn't do it. But people shouldn't do a lot of things that they do.
To try to fix this problem, numerous programs have been aired to gain meer insight in this matter. People will care for a couple of days, just because it's the new buzz. But until u of a younger one close to u is bullied, u have no clue how hard it is to deal with that situation. Anyone can be a bully. A teacher, a parent, a sibling, a friend... a random stranger u see in the mall. The truth is that bullying is always goin to happen, because there is nothing u can do about it. People are going to disagree, and people are going to dislike other people because of looks, color, religion, money, etc. If u see someone getting bullied, don't stand back and "enjoy the show". Because that could very well be the one thing to send that person to the breaking point, and be the cause of their death. Don't exect someone to come to your aid if u get bullied, because they are likely standing back for the same reason u were: fear.
Don't be afraid, because you'll only end up wasting your time. People are here to help and listen to you, so don't try to tackle this on your own. It's not worth it when two is better than one.
