Alice in Wonderland (2010) Vraag

What fabric was used for the Hatters hat?

Does anyone know what fabric they used to make the hat?
I want to make one door myself, but my first try wasn't that great. So my volgende try have to be better and meer original.

I'm asking cause I've seen some foto's of some kind of museum and perhaps there was a description?
What fabric was used for the Hatters hat?

All I can say about it is that I'm guessing it's the same type of material used in a normal top, boven hat. Almost a jean like thickness, but different texture.

For my hat I just used a regular top, boven hat as the base and wrapped brown and green kant, lace around it to give it the colour. Then I sewed in all of the stitiching door hand and made it look meer authentic.
