Just recently, during a concert at Coachella, Dr. Dre and others performed with the hologram of Tupac. Technology has come a long way to bring back a dead rapper.

Now Imagine the same technology used to bring The Chipmunks and Chipettes virtually to life. They could perform along with real artist.
u could see them scamper on stage, chat with the audience, and watch them do dance numbers. This could be done in different tours around the country.

Now if it is possible.. Would u pay to see it?

No1chipmunkfan It's possible?!!! Of course NOT. And that wasn't a hologram. It was made by the Pepper's Ghost technique and it was CGI. Technology really did came a long way in a short time, but not long enough. 'Simple' holograms and even teleporters do exist but we'll have to wait at least 15-20 years. Soon, we will have quantum computers and holograms like those in Star Trek, but not at this time. And they spent at least 300 000 dollars to create realistic CGI Tupac and to do the things you said with the Chipmunks with todays technology would count in millions. But it would be great.
