Exactly debs. Instinct wins out every time, you see that all the time in nature. If a human came up against a lion with no gun, who do you think is going to win? It doesn't matter how smart the human is, the lion's instincts are going to win out.

Have to go with the caveman (I've had this debate at work too, and somebody ALWAYS asks the Wesley line). Besides, even if said astronaut had a gun I don't know how well he could pull the trigger with said gloves on. I don't know why I am saying said.

Cavemen are conditioned for war and battle. Only as we have evolved did we lose our primal-ness (new word!). Take an average man from today or even a MENSA man and put them in a pit with a caveman and I think the caveman might be having man-kabob for dinner if lightning strikes. Or if the MENSA man had a lighter.

I'd have to say Cavemen because they didn't know anything so they basically would just bash the astronauts head.
