Episode 103: The Auction

Railroad: Union Pacific

The station only had three ponies standing on the platform when Hawkeye, and Stylo stopped their passenger train at the station.

Stylo: Looks like we made it five minuten ahead of schedule.
Hawkeye: Good. I hope Orion can keep it that way when he takes over for us. *Gets out of the train with Stylo*
Percy: *Opens the baggage car, and gets a sack of mail* Pierce, bring this to Pete. I'm going to unload everything else for the passengers.
Hawkeye: Care to carry this with me?
Stylo: Put it on your back, and I can carry it while flying.

In Pete's office.

Pete: *Reading To Kill A Mockingbird. On a part of his desk, there is a stack of paperwork he just finished signing* Signing all of those papers were not easy. In the end, I'm glad I got it finished.
Hawkeye: *Knocking on the door* Pete, please open the door.
Pete: It's unlocked, come on in.
Hawkeye: I need u to open it!
Pete: Why?

The sack fell off of Hawkeye's back, opened the door, and the mail fell out. It also knocked down Pete's pile of paperwork.

Hawkeye & Stylo: *Emerging from the pile of mail*
Hawkeye: That's why.
Pete: Now look what you've done! I lost all of my paperwork!
Stylo: *Looking at the mail* u can blame Orion for that. It looks like he ordered hundreds of random objects in these boxes, marked from.. *Looks at a package* ...Pakistan.
Pete: What the hell is he ordering stuff from there for?
Orion: *Arrives* Oh good. My new dresses from Pakistan have arrived.
Stylo: Are u still trying to get fired on purpose?
Orion: With the new dresses I got, yes.
Hawkeye: I thought u were done with this.
Orion: Not yet. I saved a lot of money to get 57 new dresses, and one of them will get Pete to brand me.
Pete: It'll never work.
Orion: This would never happen if u didn't stop changing my schedules so much!
Hawkeye: Why don't u just quit?
Orion: Because the government will hire someone to kill me. u guys should know that door now. *Taking his packages*
Hawkeye: *Finds a letter* This is marked for me.
Pete: Why don't u open it?
Hawkeye: No. I'm going to put this in my car, and wait until I get home pagina to open it. For now, I'm going back to work. *Leaves with Stylo* And Orion, I'll get Jeff to help u get all of your packages.
Orion: Thanks.

Hawkeye was at his house with Metal Gloss. Metal Gloss was in the douche while Hawkeye opened his letter.

Hawkeye: *Reading the letter* Dear Pierce, I hope u like the sports car I gave u thirteen years geleden as a present for becoming an engineer. I have another one like that coming to your house from Florida. My factory is running well, but I am not. As I write this, I have only 20 hours to live, so I decided to give u something special before I pass away. Along with this letter, u will find two thousand dollars. *Looks in the envelope, and gets the two thousand dollars* and the car I mentioned earlier. It's a Cord convertible. It should arrive at your house sometime before 8. Love, your uncle Charlie.

Just then, a knock was heard on the door.

Pierce: *Goes to the front door, and opens it*
British Pony: Mr. Pierce Hawkins?
Pierce: Yes.
British Pony: Your Cord is here. *Gives him the keys, and walks away*
Pierce: Thank you. *Closes the door* But now I feel like we have too many cars. There's my Auburn, Metal Gloss' station wagon, and now this car my uncle sent me.

volgende morning at the Cheyenne train station, it was 6:57 when Pierce arrived with Metal Gloss.

Pete: *Reorganizing his stack of paperwork* I hope nothing makes this stack fall down like yesterday.
Hawkeye: *Knocks on the door* Pete?
Pete: Do u have anymore over sized bags with you?
Hawkeye: No. May I come in?
Pete: *Goes to unlock the door, and unlocks it*
Hawkeye: *Comes in*
Pete: What is it?
Hawkeye: Remember that letter I got yesterday?
Pete: Yes. Did u read it?
Hawkeye: It was from my uncle. He sent me a sports car, but me, and Metal Gloss feel like we have too many cars. Do u know somepony that's looking for a station wagon, of a yellow convertible?
Pete: No, and I got problems of my own. One of those letters u brought into my office was about the profit this railroad is making.
Hawkeye: How is it?
Pete: Bad! We need to find out how to make meer money.
Hawkeye: *Thinking* An auction.
Pete: What?
Hawkeye: We set up an auction in the parking lot, and we have one of the cars set up for sale.
Pete: I don't know.
Hawkeye: How much money do we need to make to improve our profit?
Pete: Ten thousand dollars.
Pierce: Then, see if u can get anypony else to put some of their things in the auction. I'll do the same with Metal Gloss. *Leaves the office*

Location: Cheyenne, Wyoming
Time: 10:32 AM

Pete, and Hawkeye told their vrienden about the auction. Hawkeye also told the other ponies that worked with him.

door the time it was time to go home, Hawkeye stopped in Pete's office.

Hawkeye: How many ponies did u get to kom bij the auction with us?
Pete: Seven.
Hawkeye: I talked to everyone else. Metal Gloss, Mirage, and Dan have a few items to put up for auction.
Pete: Okay. The auction takes place on the 17th. Remember, we need to make over ten thousand dollars.

And on the dag the auction took place, it was off to a lousy start. Pete's vrienden all put their things up for auction, but it only got them to $300.

Hawkeye: Sir, are u sure u didn't have any other vrienden that had valuable stuff to put up for auction?
Pete: Hey, I did everything I could. Which reminds me, what car did u and Metal Gloss decide to put up for auction?
Pierce: My car. We're keeping her station wagon, and the Cord.
Auction Pony: Okay, up volgende is Orion Stardust.
Orion: *Arrives, and is wearing a brown dress* Okay ladies, I got fifty five dresses, just like this one.
Pete: Holy shit. I can't look.
Hawkeye: How come no one booed him away yet?
Mare: I'll bid a hundred dollars.
Orion: A hundred dollars for fifty five dresses. Good choice.
Hawkeye: Wait, I thought-
Pete: I told him that if he didn't get rid of those dresses, he would not be fired.
Mare 3: $250!
Orion: Two hundred and fifty! Anyone else? These are from Pakistan.
Mares: *Silent*
Mare 3: Fuck.
Orion: Going once, twice, sold to the mare with the blond mane for two hundred and fifty dollars.
Mare 3: Low quality shit at a high price. *Walks to get the dresses*
Hawkeye: We could have gone higher if he didn't mention where those dresses came from.

Mirage and Dan sold their things, and they did great. They were now up to $5,158

Auction Pony: And last, but not least, a 1936 Auburn 851 Speedster, and the pony selling the car to one of u lucky ponies, Pierce Hawkins!
Hawkeye: *Walks onto stage, and speaks into the microphone* Thank you. You're all probably wondering why I'm giving away a unique car like this. Well, for one thing, I got another car like this from my uncle who passed away, so I decided to give this car away, so I could keep the car my uncle gave me. Also, this railroad needs meer money. If we don't make ten thousand dollars, we may go bankrupt. Now let the bidding begin.

Just then, a Rolls Royce, and a BMW pulled into the parking lot. Coming out of the Rolls Royce was Louis Bodine.

Pete: Louis?
Louis: Yes, it's me. When I heard about your auction, and the car u were giving away, I knew I had to get here as soon as possible. I hope I'm not too late.
Hawkeye: You're just in time.
Louis: I want that car a lot, so I'm going to start the auction with six thousand dollars, to make sure I can get it instead of anyone else.
Hawkeye: That's greedy for a therapist, but okay. Six thousand dollars, going once. Twice. Sold, to Louis Bodine.

After Louis left with the rest of his vrienden in the BMW, and Rolls Royce, Hawkeye talked to Pete in his office.

Hawkeye: Did I tell u it would work of what?
Pete: I'm just surprised Louis appeared out of nowhere.
Hawkeye: I called him. I knew he would help us out.
Pete: Good for you. Now, we have meer than enough money to stay in business.
