Zuko stood up from his troon and approached the scared servant. He took the scroll from her hands and unrolled it. As he read it, noticed his eyes narrowing. After what felt like minuten the scroll burst into flames and the ashes fell to the floor.
"Zuko, what is it?" asked Katara standing up and walking to her friend, concerned.
Zuko ignored her and addressed a man a few seats down.
"Admiral Lee, get your men and ship ready to the Earth Kingdom. The Chikara Army has invaded the city of Gaoling."
"That's where Toph is!" exclaimed Sokka, horrified.
Zuko nodded and continued, "They've outnumbered the Earth Kingdom soldiers and Water Tribe warriors."
Lee bowed to Zuko and left the war room. There was silence until Zuko zei quietly, "This meeting is over. Everyone except Katara, Sokka, and Suki.
"I hope Toph will be okay." zei Suki, holding onto Sokka's arm.
"Let's not forget how tough Toph is, Suki." zei Sokka, "I bet u she's helping the Earth Kingdom soldiers fight."
"Why did Elvira tell u that she took over Gaoling?" asked Katara.
"She's hoping that her taking over cities will make me step down." answered Zuko looking down at the ashes.
"If she thinks you're going to give up that easily, she must be a out of her mind, right Katara?" he added, looking at his sister.
She wasn't listening, she was looking at the expression on Zuko's face.
"You're not really thinking about it, are you?" Katara asked Zuko silently. Seeing him close his eyes and bowing his head, she gasped. "But u can't!" she cried, "You can't give up. We'll think of something."
"I don't think there's anything we can do, Katara." zei Zuko. He turned to the brand that surrounded the troon and stared into it. "No matter how hard we try, we're losing this war."
"When the brand Nation followed us all over the world, almost succeeding in capturing him, di Aang give up?" zei Sokka. At the mention of Aang's name, Haruki closed his eyes and bowed his head. Katara's eyes brimmed with tears. "When the brand Nation tried to take over the Northern Water Tribe, did he give up? When the brand Nation took over Ba Sing Se, did he give up? When Sozin's Comet came, making your dad totally powerful, did Aang give up? No! He kept trying and trying. At first u don't succeed, try, try, again. Aang wouldn't want u to give up, either."
Zuko sighed, still looking into the flames.
"At least sleep on it, please?" Katara almost begged, her eyes still brimming with tears. Zuko looked at his vrienden and nodded. He left the troon room, thinking about what Sokka said. Jin watched him leave with a worried look on her face.

Sanosuke practiced his waterbending outside his home pagina that evening. He waterbended some water out of the snow, freezed them into icicles and pointed them at an old boot in the water. He sent the icicles down on the boot which went through the boot and into the water, the boot sinking with them. Sanosuke turned to Khalil, who was standing at the doorway, and bowed. Khalil smiled at his student. The suddenly heard a grunt and turned to the sidewalk to see some buffalo yak approaching their house.
"Khalil, look!" zei Sanosuke, pointing at the animals coming excitedly, "That has to be Dad!" He ran over to the animals.
"Sanosuke, wait." called out Khalil but it was too late, Sanosuke was already looking around at the riders, hoping to see his dad. He couldn't help but notice the warriors riding the buffalo yak were avoiding the boy's face. None of the riders were his father. He suddenly noticed one of the buffalo yak pulling a kar, winkelwagen and saw something in the kar, winkelwagen that was covered with a sheet. He understood.
"No." he whispered, shaking his head. When the kar, winkelwagen passed him, he fell to his knees and cried softly

Chapter three: Crazy things

After school Hayden, Eli, and me walked around the school to the place we always met my twin before we biked to karate class. I never see Sam in the day, all her classes are on the other side of the school, so I never see her.

When we passed the school's border line, we found Sam, laying on the snow covered gras in a yellow tank top, a blue mini skirt, some knee high black boots, and her brown identical hair to mine in three piggy tails. Yes, I know its weird for a girl to be wearing a tank top, boven and rok in the middle of fall but thats Sam for you. Most water benders...

Pre-warning: This is not about the avatar gang, this is a story about a boy that finds out that his ancesters were the avatar gang and that he's related to Aang and Katara. He's a water bender but everyone around him is normal making him special. Over the years the story of the avatar has changed and people think it's a myth and bending is a lost art now. Though there are some who are born benders and the avatar is still reborn into people they just don't know It and save the world in some way. Our hero's name is Michael Gavin and this is his story. I woke up to a beutiful morning to bad it...

Aang woke up with a quick start. He looked around the tiny camp brand at all his freind sleeping, and slowly his hart-, hart began to slow. He slid down Apaas side a stretched, trying his hardest not to wake anyone up, he tiptoed past Sokka, who was moaning in his sleep, " Please mister chicken i promise ill go vegie..". Smiling to himself he carried on his silent walk, he stopped a few metres from Tophs tent, and lightly as possible he jump from the ground and landed in a tree. Jumping from branch to branch he reached his destination, the edge of the cliff. he sat wide eyed waiting for the moment...

There on the floor lye a little boy, just laying there. Yue ran vooruit, voorwaarts and made the little boy lay in her arms. Though as she began to inspect him she found a burn right on his neck. She gasped but before she do anything healers came to take her away. She turned to Zuko to see his expression. It was nothing but pure horror and shock. The volgende dag it rained and was probably the most boring in the world. She could not visit Zuko because the healers told her they needed to test him and work on him. So there she sat, in front of my window watching the rain fall and just before it hit the ground turn to ice. I t was a magnifecent sight if u could see it turn to ice. Then she began to think. Was being with zuko right? Who burned the child yesterday? Could it had been zuko. What were the healers doing in zuko's room? . . . Did she belong here?

So I was reading a post on tumblr that got me thinking. Basic gist is that someone zei Azula couldn’t do anything on her own. My initial thought was to dispute that but then I kind of thought about it and realized this person was kind of right. But not just about Azula. After really thinking about it I realized that none of the characters really can! Hear me out guys; I’m not saying that the Avatar characters are useless on their own, but they are so much stronger when they have others to help them out. In fact I’d like to argue that this is an intended theme in Avatar. Like these characters...

One of the things I noticed about Avatar is the significance of the spirit disguises. Each disguise speaks volumes about the character using it and reflects their personality sort of like their bending styles.

I’ll start with the Painted Lady and Katara;

The real Painted Lady was a lot of things for the people of Jang Hui. She was a protector. A healer. A beacon of hope. She was a water spirit with assumably a gentle heart.

This is not unlike Katara herself. One of Katara’s key character traits was her hopefulness and the hope she instilled in other people. And in assuming the persona...
