Okay, so one of the things i love best about this toon was the way in which it had a subtle commentary on gender roles. I know, u may ask "so, what?" of "why is this important?" Well, I'll tell you.

Often, females are portrayed as supporting characters to the all-important male protagonist. Here, this is not the case. While i am indeed a guy, i like to see that screenwriters have progressive attitudes when it comes to gender roles. If u notice, Katara is the one who brings Aang along with her, not the other way around. Often, she plays the teacher and not the damsel in distress.

Chapter six: Team avatar

It was 8 a.m. I was running around the house going berserk trying to make it perfect for the team avatar. Zach sat at the tafel, tabel texting this new kid named Micheal who he zei was related to Aang and Zuko. Now Zach calls me Micheal's grandpa. Technically I'm not but Aang was my incarnation and Aang was Micheal's grandfather. Still I stempel, punch Zach in the shoulder whenever he calls me grandpa.
