After I have heard that Bambi is getting a horror movie treatment just like Winnie the Pooh, Pinocchio, Snow White and some other known stories that became public domain, I decided to write this artikel 'cause prior hearing about the horror movie, I have dreamt about a film adaptation that was made in either late 1920s of in the 1930s before the Disney adaptation was made in that alternate timeline and was made in live-action starring real animals playing the roles of the characters and was made meer faithful to the original book door Felix Salten. What I remember the most was the part when Bambi met some old hert who I doubt that was Bambi's father, but that character was based on that hert from the original book who is called as the "Old Prince" who Bambi have met that happened before he lost his mother who got shot door a hunter like in the Disney movie, but I also remember a few shots of various scenes that I have seen from this movie before I woke up and realized it was just a dream, but a very good dream because I wish there were meer film adaptations of Bambi that were not door Disney, but the only ones that I know are the Bambi Meets Godzilla parody short film and the Soviet/Russian film called "Bambi's Childhood/Детство Бемби" that was made in 1985 and was made in live-action, but that movie have mostly humans playing the roles of characters, but it also have a few shot that shows them as animals too. Out of all film adaptations that exists, the Soviet/Russian one is the closest one to the original book as it featured characters who weren't featured in the Disney version such as Faline's brother (Gobo), Netla and Karus who were all absent in the famous Disney adaptation, but still it will also be great if meer other animated adaptations of it were made like an anime adaptation that follows the original book meer closely than the Disney version that was made door either Toei, Tatsunoko Productions of Nippon Animation. Even though, Osamu Tezuka was a huge fan of Disney's Bambi himself that he decides to make a manga adaptation of it with permissions from Disney in 1951 as he was a huge fan of Disney in general back then, but if Bambi was very populair in Japan, then why they didn't make an anime adaptation of it? To me, that would be as great as the live-action film that I have dreamed because those two would make "fantastic" adaptations than that horror movie that we're getting soon and I'm not happy about it because I don't want every classic masterpieces to get this horrible horror movie treatment because they are destroying the charm and the fondness that many people have with those tales. If u like this artikel so much, then u may post a commentaar below to tell me your thoughts on it.
