Finding a pair of size fie ballet shoes at a nearby costume store for Kristyn is turning out to be a challenge for Hailey. Madame Katerina, the costumer for the ballet school, shows up out of the blue with the perfect a pair of roze pointe shoes for Kristyn. Kristen is overjoyed, but when she tries them on, she is completely overwhelmed, and when she recovers finds that both she and Hailey have been carried to what seems to be a world that is a magical version of ballet Giselle. As well, it appears that Kristyn herself has become the ballet’s lead character. As Giselle, Kristyn finds she is able to dance the girl’s solo with aplomb, and before she knows it, Duke Albrecht arrives to ask for her hand in marriage, a proposal which is interrupted door Hilarion the gamekeeper, just like in the real ballet. Kristyn finds herself refusing both of their proposals, after which, Hailey notes the tragic ending that the ballet is known for, and suggests they go, just in case, in this magical world they’ve found themselves, it actually happens.

Before they can find a way out, they are almost run down door the Snow Queen sleigh. The Snow Queen, who rules this world of ballet, demands to know from her subjects why they are not performing the story as they are supposed to. Hilarion and Giselle’s mother Berthe try to come up with an explanation, but Berthe is caught in her lie, and the Ice Queen transforms her into solid ice. The Duke and the Gamekeeper agree then to work together to locate Giselle. Hailey, in the meantime decides that the pinke pointe shoes must be responsible for all this and tells Kristyn that she should remove them immediately. Instead of following her friend’s advice, Kristyn runs away. door the time Hailey finds her door a nearby lake, Kristyn has transformed again, this time into the lead zwaan-, zwaan Lake, Odette.
Shortly after finding her friend, Kristyn as Odette is approached door Prince Seigfriend. The Prince asks ‘Odette’ to dance, and then after witnessing the girl’s beauty, invites her to a party at his house that night. Odette is meer than happy to go. However, Rothbart, who has been watching, transforms both Kristyn and Hailey into swans, so that he can replace Odette with his daughter Odile, and convince the Prince to marry her. The Snow Queen arrives again to approve how things are going, but is still aggravated door the continuing changes occurring to the stories. Haily and Krysten are nearly caught door Hilarion and Albrecht, but managed to fly off, and head towards Siegfried party, remembering, if this is all true to the ballet, only he can break the spell that has been cast on them. Kristyn manages to get him to do it during the party where Odile has been disguised as Odette, but then the Snow Queen arrives, taking Hailey away, stating “she does not belong.”
Worried about what the queen will do to Hailey, Kristyn chases after Snow Queen’s sleigh door it’s icy trail, but eventually breaks down weeping, feeling that she will never find her best friend. She is found door Hilarion and Albrecht and begs them to help her rescue her friend. The Prince and the Gamekeeper agree to help Kirsten take on the Ice Queen, although again propose to her when they reach the Ice Queen’s palace. Kristyn convinces them again to help her save Hailey, as it is the only thing she can think about. When they come across the Snow Queen, the woman forces Hailey to perform the dance of the Chinese Doll from Coppelia, so furious is she at Kristyn. Once Hailey has started dancing, the angry and unforgiving queen turns her powers on Kristyn. Even the two men are unable to overcome the queen’s powerful magic.
Kristyn, however, still has the ability to creating her own choreography, and her passion in dancing as she wishes allows her to break free of the Snow Queens compulsion. She then transforms again, this time into a gorgeous roze costume decorated with roses. The queen’s powers defeated, at Hailey’s urging Kristyn removes the roze shoes. They find themselves back at the costume shop, where Madame Katerina arrives to tell them that Kristyn has to head back right away for her performance for the ballet scouts. When they get there, Tara provides a pair of shoes, while Hailey helps fix Kristyn’s costume. They manage to get her ready just in time.
On stage as she dances, Kristyn’s dress dramatically changes from blue and purple to glittery roze in step with her improvised choreography. The crowd is wowed door her performance. The scouts decide to hire Tara and Dillon as dancers for their company. They also reveal they have a brand new ballet planned and want Kristyn to ster in it. Impressed door her dress, they also ask Hailey to come along as her costumer. The dancers and costumer accept the offers. Meanwhile, the movie ends as mysterious Madame Katerina smiles to herself while she puts away the pair of magical roze ballet shoes.
