Sony Announces Limited Edition \'Batman: Arkham Knight\' PS4 Bundle

Batman: Arkham Knight is a video game being developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, which will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft

Windows. It is the final installment of the Batman: Arkham series by Rocksteady Studios. The release date for the game is scheduled for June 23, 2015. To celebrate the release, Sony

announced a new limited edition bundle with custom artwork that “pays homage to the epic series.”

PlayStation 4 Bundle will be available for $449.99 and it includes a Steel Grey PlayStation 4 system chassis with a custom

faceplate, a matching DualShock 4 wireless controller in Steel Grey and the Batman: Arkham Knight game. 

Sony is also selling a standard edition of the Batman: Arkham Knight PlayStation 4 Bundle for $399.99, which includes a PlayStation 4 system, a DualShock 4 controller in Jet Black and the Batman: Arkham Knight game. The digital pre-order for Batman: Arkham Knight is available on the PlayStation Store starting today.

Batman: Arkham Knight game for the PlayStation 4 will also gain access to bonus content before it launches anywhere else like in-game missions and custom skins for Batman and the Batmobile. Pre-orders for the Limited Edition and the Standard Edition of the Batman: Arkham Knight PlayStation 4 Bundle have started today on Playstation.com.

As you can tell by the video, the camera pans in the Batman: Arkham Knight game are very smooth and the frame rate is sharp and steady. The music changes depending on how the player performs during fight scenes. You will also notice that the game appears to be designed for a mature audience because you can hear some bone-crunching noises in the fight scenes and the storyline appears to be very dark. This is why the game is rated “M for Mature” in the U.S. and is expected to have a PEGI 18 rating in Europe.

all received a “T for Teens” rating. In an interview with IGN, Rocksteady founder Sefton Hill said that the game was not written with a rating in mind. “We never did that in the previous two games… We just felt that this is the story that we really wanted to tell,” said Hill in the interview. Hill believes that younger players may miss out on the game due to the rating, but making it more “mass market” would have been harmful to the story that Rocksteady wanted to tell.
