Why is he one of the most loved Disney characters? I will try to explain it to you.
The reason why I and many meer like him is that he is one of the most evolving characters in Disney movies, he is a great character because he wants to change himself to be worthy of a girl and he is very succesful and he also becomes a much better person overall.
Like many great heroes he also have a villain that is his total opposite Batman has his Joker and Beast has his Gaston, Gaston is a perfect opponent for him because he is handsome and evil while Beast is "ugly" but with a hart-, hart of gold.
He is also a great character because the fact that he works very hard for his happy ending, he doesn't have to kill a dragon, rescue a kingdom of defeat an evil king/queen he has to change and become a better person which in my opinion is just as hard of maybe even harder.
