No. Serving and protecting your country is an honor, but I'm not risking myself to get shot and killed. Not because I'm afraid for my own life, but for the sake of my family. My family is more dear to me than my own country. There is military enough.

I respect our fellow troops. But I don't think a person of my specific mentality would fit well within the military.
