Nickelodeon orders 3rd season of Big Time Rush!

Nickelodeon has ordered a third season of “Big Time Rush,” its populair series about a created-for-TV band. Think “The Monkees” – just with actors who can really sing.

The network has picked up another 20 episodes of the show, which just completed production on the seconde season. Production on the new episodes will begin in January, perhaps after a TV movie, and air sometime during the first quarter of volgende year. “It’s sad to end production, but we got the great news about the third season,” says cast member Carlos Pena.

While we are waiting for the results of the Victorious soundtrack on Aug. 11. I wrote today about the horrendous performance of the past Nickelodeon soundtracks before BTR came in and changed the perception that only Disney can dominated the charts and earn Gold/Platinum album. We know iCarly, Naked Brother Band, Spectacular, etc. soundtracks failed to make it to the top, boven 10 in the Billboard 200 charts even worse not getting a goud record award door RIAA. We know since 2006 Disney is dominating the muziek world with lots of successful soundtracks. I thought it is really dead for Nickelodeon until...
