I hope Mark won't go with the obvious in this situation which would be Peyton's car. I hope Mark's got something up his sleeve.
Soo...Lucas did say it was about a scientist so he must have looked it up himself, also i don't understand how everyone think's it's a LP thing...i mean in the quote Lucas states that someday it would come back! hello? if it was about Peyton she did come back she actually offered her self up on a silver schotel to him and he still didn't take the bait he choose Lindsey.
Also i thought the part about brooke imagining herself in lindsay's dress was wierd...she wants a baby supposedly not necessarily to get married (often the two go together but not necessarily)
Another note that i made is that Mark always turns things around...like in season 1 he chased Peyton and then in season 2 he went to Brooke's door...then they had all this brucas buildup and Jeyton...and...boom Peyton is really in love with Lucas and then Brooke breaks up with Lucas adn Lucas goes for Brooke but then boom he is in love with Peyton!!
I mean...Mark kinda goes back and forth and its always been a surprise so it is possible that with all the leyton buildup it ends with brucas...it would definately give us shock value.
As for the comet..nothing has been set in stone. Neither Leyton nor Brucas. At this point, it can go either way. I mean everyone is Pro-Leyton and all and Mark might be foreshadowing a Brucas reunion. Either way, to say LP is endgame is immature. u NEVER know where this toon can go.
I, however will never support Leyton because of the fact that minus the first few episodes of s1 Lucas has NEVER chased Peyton of tried to pursue a relationship with her. He chased Brooke in s2 and s3. He was NOT the one who kissed her in the bibliotheek and he was still chasing Brooke after they broke up until suddenly he realized that he ight love Peyton. Now in season 5,
Peyton has been throwing herself at Lucas and he just kept chasing after Lindsey.
So to say that Leyton is "epic" and Brucas was just another high school romance might just make some LPer's happy but its so far from the truth that its not even close to being funny.
The comet really needs to be Brooke. I HATE how when the season started its almost like they pretended Brooke and Lucas never had anything, because in my opinion, they had a much stronger and emotional relationship, plus much meer chemistry than Peyton and Lucas ever had. I wish Chad and Sophia hadn't broken up in real life but if lucas and peyton end up together, its going to be so dissappointing and anti-climatic.
