I'm just talking about the times she hit him just for the sake of it. There were times he'd said something or was holding back info when I understand her hitting him, but there were also quite a few times she hit him for the hell of it. Like one time she got the info she wanted then punches him, he says "I was telling the truth" and she goes "I know" and walks off. Or when she asks how he killed the slayers. Before even asking him she just slams him into a wall, way to ask for a favour Buff!

You could argue he tried to kill her lots of times so he deserves it, or that he's a vampire he's just lucky she didn't stake him but to me it made me think less of Buffy. The fact is he was completely defenceless and to hit him for no reason other than you feel like, knowing he can't defend himself is wrong. She's meant to be the hero and hitting someone defenceless for the sake of it is way bitchier behaviour than I expect from Buffy. To me hitting someone you know is incapable of defending themselves is cruel and kinda cowardly. Not Buffy behaviour.

Well, you gotta point. Buffy would always punch for information on either demons or where there hideouts are. But I have been thinking this out in Season 5, the episode "Out of my Mind", Fools for Love, other episodes Buffy would hit Spike and hit her back I got confused about the Chip thing, I mean I know what is Spike can't hurt any humans, cuz the chip. But Buffy something different Spike was actually loving the hittings from Buffy. Wierd, that what actually draws Spike to Buffy more.

This annoyed me a lot too, and like Mermaid-Tail said, it's not like a slayer to hit someone for no reason when they are utterly helpless and defenseless.

Despite the fact that Spike supposedly liked it, I hated Buffy for doing that. spikes_girl is right, it isn't like a Slayer to beat up someone defenseless. This is part of the reason I started to hate Buffy near the end of the show. I honestly didn't get why she treated him so terrible.

Even though I belive Spike did enjosy some of those I get mad at this too.I mean Buffy knew he couldn't defend himslef and she used it to beat him.That's why I never liked Buffy that because she thought she was best than everybody because she was The Slayer(although there are things I liked in her too.I like and dislike Buffy at the same time).
