Dearheart 1) Your first "fact" is completely inaccurate. Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and the Bible says nothing about a "blinding flash of light" having anything to do with it. 2) Jesus could work miracles because He was the SON OF GOD. Look it up. He repeatedly said it Himself, and He was either a liar, a lunatic or exactly who He claimed. Do some brainwork, look up a few Bible passages and see which one fits best. 3) Most likely, Jesus wasn't the pale, skinny shrimp you see in all the movie versions of the crucifixion (except for [i]Passion of the Christ[/i], which was much more accurate). He was a carpenter by trade for many years and was used to doing strenuous work, and He did a LOT of walking. He was probably a very large, powerful, muscular guy with a lot of stamina. He also had a lot of passion, willpower and mental strength. Therefore, it shouldn't be SO surprising that He was able to carry the cross so far. But to be painfully blunt, this wasn't a "journey" at all. It was short, spammy and totally inaccurate, if not untrue altogether. If you had some kind of evidence to back up your statements or if you had delved deeper into the subject, this could've been interesting. [i]Maybe[/i] I'd listen. knifewrench :O .... DearHeart that is what I call "a comment of über truth and awesomeness". You've said everything I would have if I had got to this earlier. Although I think we should refrain from reporting this. It's a good way of quickly dismissing the idea that Jesus is an alien if ever someone brings it up again.

Cinders Knifewrench's comment is expressing frustration. What I meant, in simpler terms, is that Dearheart was actually quite open to your interpretation, if you had supported it better and done more research on your facts. What I think she didn't like was the way you presented your argument (and had little research and support). That's all I'm saying. You're free to express your opinions, but if you want to be taken seriously, you should try writing it more like an English essay as opposed to an instant message. Especially if your opinions challenge the beliefs of the people in the spot you're posting. From what I've seen, the folks on this spot welcome questions and discussion about their faith.
