Obi-Wan Kenobi is a fictional character in the ster Wars universe. He is one of several primary characters in the ster Wars series. Along with Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader, R2-D2, and C-3PO, he is one of the few major characters to appear in all of the six ster Wars films. He is portrayed in the original trilogy door Alec Guinness, in the prequel trilogy door Ewan McGregor and is voiced door James Arnold Taylor in the ster Wars: The Clone Wars film and televisie series. His role in the original trilogy is of a mentor, whereas the prequels see him as a central protagonist.
