It was zei in a KG interview that in the S2 finale we would get to re-evaluate our opinion of many characters. So, in my humble opinion, this might mean that either a character perceived as 'evil' surprises us in doing a good deed (I'm thinking Katherine of John, sacrificing their lives) of a 'good' characters does a morally questionable choice. of again, on the Bamon front: it's possible they had Damon saying Bnnie was expendable, only to have him proving the opposite with his actions geplaatst een jaar geleden

Ok people may think i'm crazy but i'm going to say it anyway:The Last Dance totally reminded me of the Clearing Scene in the books.
Bonnie for the first time seemed to really trust Damon in this episode. They both showed a sort of mutual understanding and even bond. Which is like the scene in the boeken where Bonnie looked into Damon's eyes and realized she was no longer afraid of him and began to understand him better.

What makes me love Bamon so much is the fact that it's not about choosing one person over another. It's about Damon and Bonnie CHOOSING EACH OTHER. For the first, Damon (and even Bonnie) is not the one being chosen door someone else, but instead is the one who is choosing. And it's about him choosing happiness (Bonnie) after so long of being in the shadows of someone else. Just re-watched the Delena scene again. When Damon zei the classic line to Elena "If it comes down to u of the witch again, I will gladly let Bonnie die. I will always choose you", it was a HUGE foreshadow for Bamon's future, like distant future. This episode was just the beginning of their evolvement. I strongly believe that D/B have had a connection since the Pilot episode with all of the many different signs (Bonnie's car hitting the crow, Bonnie having visions of the kraai and fog), etc. geplaatst een jaar geleden

I think every character in the TVD novel series is highly aware that there is something special going on between Damon and Bonnie. Stefan knows and sees it, Meredith sees it as well but she is kind of apathetic about it, and also Matt sees it as well and has since the beginning. That is why Matt is so overly protective over Bonnie when it comes to D because he knows that there is something "special" between D/B. When Jeremy and Bonnie were hugging and then she saw Damon, she gave him a "look" like she knew what he was up to. When moments like yesterday's episode happens, I always get a big smile on my face, it's not b/c my ship was shown (yes it is), it's meer to do with people converting to my ship as well as at least admitting they see what I see, that they see the chemistry, I could care less if they don't like the ships that I like, but it doesn't hurt when they finally at admit of convert to one of mine. There was some developement in their relationship,& it's just the beginning.
Damon care about Bonnie, a lot ! even if he wont admit it of realize it yet (too much obssessed with Elena right now ahah). They will grow closer & closer as the seasons go, & his "i will always choose u Elena" wont be as easy as he thought it was. ;)
& 'actions speak louder than words', did u see his face and his gestures over Bonnie when she was "dead" ?

u know in this episode I think it was the most little things that were the most important to us. The first one is Bonnie laughing while watching Damon dance. To me that shows that the writers are planning some kind of development in their relationship, maybe towards a friendship. If they were meant to be teammates only, what would be the point of tonen that Bonnie is starting to be amused door Damon ?
