No, Stelena is endgame in the books. Lisa already zei that. Publishers didn't want Delena as endgame, they didn't want Delena at all. Just SE. (to follow the twilight success)

Urgh... well thank u for answering.... But why'd they do DE atall if they didn't want them, wtf???? i'm confused.... One thing is for sure they NEEED to be endgame on the toon
yes! the boeken are a good read, but only the damon and delena scenes,the rest is pure stelena cheese with a few bamon scenes here and there!! *cringe* im telling you, the amount of stelena, and the way it is written will probably make u vomit!! it's so disgusting, sugary sweet, and fairytale like, that it's unreal!! as for the delena scenes, they are AWSOME and REALISTIC!!! they won't dissapoint you!! but now that lj smith has been fired, the ghost writers have took over, and i heard that she was going for a bamon endgame anyway! so for me the boeken ended when delena ended!!! but i will always and aforever be a delena shipper, in the boeken and the show!!! DELENA FOREVER!!!!! TWINFLAMES 4 LIFE!!!

about that bamon being endgame thing, i heard this from a bamon fan, she zei lj smith wanted a bamon endgame. and yes i know that lj smith stated in her emai that she was heading towards a DE endgame, but that was written a long time ago...i heard that sshe seemed to be very pro bamon in one of her interviews!! i just hope that they don't follow that route on the show...
@loveofdelena, LJ Smith had the tendency to appear pro-Bamon when replying to Bamon fans, but I don't think there's enough Bamon in the boeken to account for a Bamon endgame. If she was answering a Bamon fan, I think she just gave the impression that Bamon would be endgame so the Bamon fans would keep buying the books. I heard that the publishers wanted to cut Bonnie's scenes of maybe cut her out altogether in the new books. I don't think this has happened, but apparently, the newest book had a lot of DE in it.
To be honest, I don't know anymore. I don't think the boeken will end as long as the toon is running. So, can the publishers keep SE going for another 3 years? It does appear to be true that the publishers are in favour of Stelena, but the new series of boeken apparently still has DE in it. Last year, when Smith was fired, there were a lot of stories going around that DE was going to be cut out of the books, but I think the publishers have done a u-turn and realised they can't do this - at least, not as long as the toon is airing. u never know. DE is obviously the dominant ship, and it might be that the publishers find themselves under pressure from the success of DE in the toon to make them endgame in the boeken as well. Everyone assumes it will be SE, but that might change in time. If DE are endgame in the show, then there will be a huge outcry for them to be endgame in the boeken too. It depends on sales and how long the series goes on for. The publishers are looking to make money at the end of the day, and I have a feeling they will spin out the boeken for as long as possible.

do u think that the writers will wait it out to see who is endgame in the show, and then have LJ smith reistated to finish off the boeken her way, conterary to the ending of the show? which i sincerely hope, will be DELENA as the endgame!! lol
If the new boeken are meer in line with the show, then maybe DE will be endgame. I would be surprised if LJ Smith was reinstated though. Very difficult to tell who she was rooting for, because she seemed to change her perspective depending on who her fans shipped. So if she was replying to a DE fan, then it was DE all the way. If she was replying to an SE fan, then SE were soulmates. If she was replying to a Bamon fan, then Bonnie had as good a chance at being with Damon as Elena, of more. She changed her attitude all the time. But I believe that if u look at the pattern of the books, it was heading towards a DE endgame.
