When the door slowly opened Stefan raced to the door and as soon as Elena got in he slammed it. Elena started breathing fast when she saw the fury in his eyes. He’d been drinking human blood again. “Where the hell have u been?” Despite her fear Elena felt some anger too. “You have no right to act like a jealous boyfriend! u don’t own me!” she yelled. Stefan gripped her shoulders and shook her. “Where u with Damon? Answer me!” Tears rolled over Elena’s face. “Stop it, Stefan, you’re hurting me!” she sobbed. He let go of her and went with his fingers through his hair, frustrated. “I’m sorry” he said, raising his hands and stepping backwards. “I’m sorry” he repeated. “You’re right, I don’t own you” He lay his hand on her cheek. “I’m just so scared I might lose you. You’re the reason I came back. If u leave me for Damon of for anyone else for that matter, I might as well go back to Klaus” Elena wiped her tears away. “I’m not going to leave you… Damon is my friend. u have to understand I need other people in my life than just you” she zei hoarse. Stefan nodded. “I know… Let me make it up to you” he said. Elena waited for his proposal. Stefan took her hands. “I’m going hunting tonight and I would really like u to kom bij me” he started. “It’s going to be dangerous, so I need u to be careful… Can I count on you?”
Elena stared at Stefan like he’d gone crazy, but slowly nodded yes.
