Elena was pacing up and down the living room when Damon and Stefan came in. She speeded towards them and slapped Damon in the face.
“If u dare to ask what that was for I swear I’m going to slap u again” Elena threatened trembling and with tears in her eyes. “I told u I wasn’t going to take your blood. But of course, Damon Salvatore only thinks about himself. I hope you’re happy now. My bags are packed”
Elena waited for Damon to say something, anything to defend himself. But he remained quiet. Elena looked up at Stefan. “Can u tell Meredith that I’m sorry? I didn’t mean to hurt her like that”
“You attacked Meredith?” Stefan exclaimed surprised.
“I didn’t mean to. I was starving” Elena defended herself. She looked at Damon, anticipative.
“If you’re waiting for an apology, u can wait forever. And u can take that literally” Damon snarled.
Elena wanted to give him a hostile comeback, when Stefan quickly interrupted.
“Elena, Damon didn’t give u his blood” he zei in a moment of impulsivity. Damon glared at him, but Stefan cast him a warning glance. “I did. I didn’t want u to die and I didn’t want u to hate Damon for trying to keep u alive. So, I gave u my blood. Now you’re alive and u don’t have to be mad with Damon. Be mad with me. It’s a small price to pay”
Elena turned to Damon. “Is that true?” she demanded to know.
“Yes” Damon replied eventually. Elena swallowed and returned to Stefan. “Then this is goodbye. I don’t want to see u again. I never want to talk to u again. Just…get out!” she yelled furious. Stefan looked down and up again. “If that’s what u want” he calmly zei before leaving his own house.
