Ok. This isn't to do with the books, it's meer to do with the TV show. It's not carried on from anything, it's made up. So Stefan has left Mystic Falls without saying goodbye to Elena and without telling Elena he was leaving. Elena is still upset after one maand of Stefan being gone. She is also angry at Damon she knows that Damon knew that Stefan was leaving and she thinks he did nothing to stop him. She has seen Damon around but this is the first time they have properly spoken since Stefan left. Although this is a bit saucy, I think it's the kind of thing that Damon and Elena shippers have...
